Chapter 16

Tyler's POV

We walked into the club. The atmosphere around me was dark and musty. Gross. Who would want to even come her?! Idiots. That's who I'm surrounded by. Completely and utter idiots! Suddenly I saw Nathan rush past me with anger on his face.

I looked where he was walking to and saw Rose. But the bad thing about it was that there is a guys touching her body. Wow. I rolled my eyes and continued to look for her platinum blonde blonde hair.

I sudden saw it. She was on the dance floor with at least five guys around her. I couldn't even think I just walked over to her slowly. Acting as if I scared her she would take off in the opposite direction. When I was close enough to her I wrapped my arms around her.

She grabbed my hands and pushed them off her, "sorry buddy. You can admire all you want, BUT you can't touch!"

"And why not?" I asked her. She turned around so fast I thought she might've gotten whiplash!

"Tyler?!" She smiled at me. I quickly wrapped my arms around her, "what are you doing here?"

"Oh you know the usual, scoping out my competition. And don't worry I'm pretty sure I'm the best looking guy her," I said winking at her. She laughed a little bit. A blushed appeared on her face. Why is she so cute?!

"Come let's get out of here," I said grabbing her hand and walking out of the club.

Ben's POV

Kaytie. Kaytie. Thats all I could think about! Where the heck was she?! We were in some dusty club that smelled like somebody haven't showered in weeks!

I soon saw her brown hair. I quickly walked over to her to see her hugging a guy. My heart shattered right there. I couldn't move my legs so I was forced to watch her hug him. Soon enough she locked eyes with me.

Her gave paled. I turned around and began to walk out of the club.

"Ben?!" Kaytie yelled behind me. I just kept walking to the door. I couldn't stand to be in this place any more!

"Would you please just wait?!" She said grabbing my hand. That's it. I quickly turned around to face her, "what's wrong?" She asked. Seriously!

"Why were you hugging that guy, Kaytie?!" I whispered yelled because people started staring at us, "enjoying the show?!" I asked a couple who were staring at us. They quickly turned around and walked away. I rolled my eyes.

"Who? Nicholas!?" She asked

"Sure. Nicholas,"

"Ben he's my cousin," she said laughing at me.

"Kaytie don't all your cousins think your dead?!" I exclaimed

She went pale again, "oh no," she whispered looking at the ground

"Yeah. Oh no," I grabbed her hand and we walked out of the club.

Roses POV

The car ride was quiet. Like super quiet. It was so quiet you could've heard a fly fart if you were listening hard enough.

"I'm sorry," I said finally breaking the silence, "I don't know what come over me,"

Nathan nods his head. Seriously! I'm trying to make a conversation with you and you just nod?! I turn away from him and look out the window.

"It's fine Rose," he said keeping his eyes on the road, "it happens,"

"But it shouldn't have!" I said turning to face him again, "I had a choice. I could've went with Kaytie's choice and went shopping, or go with Felicia's plan which was to go to that stupid club. And I choose wrong once again!"

"Seriously, Rose it's not a big deal," Nathan said.

"Are you mad at me?" I asked looking at him through the corner of my eye. He blew out along breath and tightened his hands on the steering wheel.

"No Rose. I'm not mad at you," he said. I blew out a sigh of relief, "I'm just disappointed in you," I looked at him in shock! When he didn't look back at me, I looked away from him and out the window, "come on Rose don't be like that,"

I stayed silent.

I can't believe I disappointed him! Me of all people! I love this boy, with all my heart, and I did this to him. We pulled into the drive way, Nathan turned off the car and we both just sat there in silence, not wanting to break the silence.

"Rose?" Nathan said turning in his seat to face me. I couldn't take it anymore, I had to see them. I jumped out of the car and ran to the house next doors to Nathan's.

To the house I called my home. To the house where I ran and played, I had so many memories at this house and because one STUPID mistake everything that I loved disappeared from me in the blink of an eye.

"Rose, wait!" Nathan yelled chasing after me, "Please," I heard the distress in his voice and I stopped in front of the door. I turned around to see Nathan staring at me with wide eyes, "Don't do this Rose,"

I turned back to the door. I stared at the paint peeling off the door and smiled at myself. My dad was going to repaint the door but I guess he never got to it. He buried his only two daughters. My little sister Meg was only three years old when she died.

"It's my fault," I whispered to myself. I fell in front of the door and stared sobbing. Nathan wrapped his arms around me and whispered caring things in my ear, "It's all my fault," I whispered again

"What's your fault?" Nathan asked pulling away a little bit so he could look me in the eye, "Come on baby, you can tell me," He whispered, "I can keep a secret," he laughed a little bit and I joined in

"Meg," I said. Nathan looked at me in confusion, "My little sister. She um, died when she was three, I was ten at the time. Tomorrow is her 7th anniversary and I didn't  want my parents to be alone during this time,

"But I guess that was pretty stupid, huh?" I asked looking up at him. He looked down at me with compassion in his eyes

"No, Rose," He paused, "I get it. It's like my brother all over," He said sounding defeated. I hug him tighter and he instantly returns the gesture, "I miss these times,"

"What times?" I mumble into his chest. He laughs a little bit and I feel the rocking of his shoulders

"The times where everything is just perfect. And nothing is wrong. I couldn't  find them in awhile, but I guess that's what makes them special. They only happen when you least expect it,"

"I love you Nathan," I said looking him in the eye

"And I love you, Rose-," Nathan stopped when the door to my house opened

"Rose?" A deep voice said from behind me

My eyes widened. Nathan tensed in my arms.

There goes our perfect moment. Thanks for jinxing it Nathan, thank you so much!
