Chapter 8

Nathan's POV

I looked at Rose in shock, 'why would she be so reckless?!' I thought to myself. I ran my fingers through my hair and walked back inside. Tyler was holding Felicia and Kaytie and Ben were on the couch talking in a low whisper. I looked for Lily she was sitting in a chair in the corner looking at her nails.

I looked up and locked eyes with me, a small smirk appeared on her face. I suddenly felt myself walking to her I tried to stop but I couldn't it was like my legs were not listening to my brain. I finally reached Lily I fell down on one knee and I leaned forward to kiss her. She smirked more and her lips met mine. When I finally came to my senses I pushed her back and punched her in the face.

"What was that for Nate?!" She asked

"Because I kissed you! When I knew I didn't want or need to kiss you! How is that even possible?!"

She smirked at me and stood up, our chest were touching I felt her warm breath on my neck.

"A little trick I picked up from my dad," she whispered in my ear, "and trust me it can come in handy when I need it to be," I shivered, I pushed her away and she fell down on her seat. I ran my fingers through my hair.

"Tell me," I said. She looked up at me and a small smirk appeared on her face, "what's in it for me?"

"I'll leave Rose and be with you," I said looking in to her eyes. She looked at me with shock, but instantly joy. Tyler must have been listening to the conversation, "dude no!" He came and grabbed my shoulder. I pushed it away, "I have no choice, she won't tell me anything unless I do something dramatic,

"I thinks it's best if you leave Tyler, you to Ben," I looked over at Ben who was standing up as well, "take the girls and leave, I will call you when I'm finished," Tyler grabbed Felicia and escorted Ben and Kaytie out of the house. Tyler looked at me before leaving I gave him a small nod. He closed the door leaving Lily and I alone

"Wow, you are even hotter when you are all controlling, Fine I will tell you," she gestured for me to sit down. I pulled a chair over to her and sat down. She leaned forward, I backed up and plopped down on my seat,

"Start,"

"After that night that Tyler killed me I woke up perfectly fine. The wound was gone, it just felt like a bad dream. My dad came in to my room like he did ever morning...

"Lily are you up?" He said in a low whisper

"Yeah, I'm up," I said jumping out of bed

"Well get dressed, put something comfortable on we have a very busy day ahead of us," he said winking at me and walking out of my room...

"I didn't know that we were going to do something bad, I just didn't want to disobey my father again,

So I got dressed and went downstairs and we started my training, my father wanted me to be part Hunter part Vampire. He wanted me to be the ultimate killing machine, so I could kill hunters and vampires, and when the time cam I would kill myself as well. He took away my feelings, my sense of control and turned me into a rabid animal,

He taught me how to kill Vampires Nathan," Lily had looked away from me and was looking down at her shoes.

"I'm so sorry Lily," I said in a low whisper

"It's your fault this happened to me any way," she said glaring at me, "I gave up my teenage years to learn how to kill vampires and hunters When all in all I'm a vampire as well!" Lily got up from where she was sitting and walked over to me

I stood up, "you know what I'm not sorry, you deserved everything that happened to you!"

She glared at me she was looking into my eyes. All of the sudden I lost control of my legs, I started walking to the kitchen I walked up to the counter and grabbed a knife. I held it in front of me. I looked at Lily she had anger on her face. Just then I thrust it in to my chest, barley missing my heart. I fell to the ground.

Lily bent down next to me, "you shouldn't make me mad Nathan," she said in my ear, "next time I will not hesitate to hit your heart," she got up and walked away from me.

My breathing was shaky, I touched the knife that was in my chest. A indescribable pain shot through my body I grunted in pain. I could feel myself getting sleepy, I felt my eyelids closing. I couldn't resist it anymore I closed my eyes and let out one final breath.

Felicia's POV

Tyler was holding me to him. I felt his warm breath on my neck

"We have to find Rose," Tyler whispered in my ear

"I know, but how?" I asked pulling away from him and looking into his eyes, "she went to the hunters house we are both vampires, they would kill us," Tyler looked into my eyes

"I won't let that happen," he said grabbing my shoulder, "but we can't leave Rose, who knows what they would do to her if they wound out what she is?" I shuddered in fear

"Maybe Kaytie and Ben can go to the house?"

"That's a great idea, because they aren't Vampires they're Angels,"

"Exactly," Tyler pulled me to him I weaned my arms around his neck and kissed him. He started kissing me back our lips moving in sync with each other. We pulled away, Tyler grabbed my hand and we walked over to Kaytie and Ben talking on the couch.

Kaytie's POV

"you want us to do what?" Ben asked with fear in his eyes

"We want you to go to the hunters house and find Rose and convince her to come back," Tyler said it like it was no big deal. I shook my head

"No, it's to risky. Even for us," I said pointing to Ben and I, "even through we're Angels we don't know what they would do with us if they figures it out?!"

"Please," Felicia said touching my knee, "this is our Rose we are talking about. Our friend since pre-school, Kaytie we need to get her back,"

I looked at Tyler and Felicia, they had sadness and panic in their eyes. I looked at Ben and he looked at me. I knew the answer and I didn't like it, "Fine," Ben said breaking eye contact with me and looking at Tyler and Felicia, "we will do it, but if we get caught, Kaytie and I are out of there, understand?"

They nodded there heads in agreement
