Chapter 2

"ROSE!?" She turned around and faced me. The happiness and joy spread across her face like a wildfire. She got up from where she was sitting and ran to me. I ran to her. She jumped into my arms, I could smell her. Feel her. Touch her. A tear ran down my face, she pulled away from me. She looked deep into my eyes, "thank you for not forgetting about me," she smiled.

"Forget about you!" I said, "how could I forget about my Rose?" I pulled her close and kissed her lips. They were sweet and soft. I felt her smile under my lips. She pulled away.

"I thought I was dead," she said not meeting my eyes. I saw a tear run down her face. I brushed it away and put my finger under her chin to make her look at me. "Rose Wilsburg, don't you dare say dead. You were never dead to me," she smiled her warm and grateful smile.

"What happened in the building that made the bomb go off?" Her smile faded. "Um, a bomb fell off of its shelf and we decided to leave, but Felicia tripped on the bomb. Causing a timer to start and we ran. But we didn't make it out in time," she said.

"Well where did you guys go?" I asked, "they searched the building and found your bodies?"

"Well that's the part I don't get," she said, "I yelled your name but I knew that it was to late. I felt the fire come around me and I felt Felicia's hand slip from mine. I closed my eyes and I I hit hard ground. I opened my eyes and I was in some type of sewer,

I tried yelling for somebody, but nobody could hear me. It was just Felicia, Kaytie and me. I remember I whispered little things to myself in hope you could hear them," I looked up at her with disbelief on my face.

"Rose I did hear you," her eyes widened in shock, "I mean I could hear you in my dreams!" She looked at me, "you mean you could hear me but you thought it was just a dream?!"

"Yes and I am so sorry," I said, "I had almost given up hope,"

"Well thank goodness you didn't!" She said playfully hitting me in the stomach. I Thought to myself, 'I love you,'

"Well I love you too," she said looking at me. She rolled her eyes.

"Oh that's right your a vampire," I said looking at her. I never wanted to look away. I thought if I didn't look at Rose for one second somebody would take her away from me again. And that was never going to happen, ever again!

"Yeah," she said looking away from me, "I am. I mean I'm still me, right?"

I looked at her with complete disbelief! "Of course you are still you! Are you kidding me, you are still the girl I met showing me around school. And I love that girl,"

"Are you sure," she said with a small smirk on her face, "look into my eyes and tell me I'm the same person,"

I did I looked into her eyes. I didn't feel happy like I normally feel with Rose. And her eyes, those were not her eyes. I pushed her away. She started to laugh.

"Lily?"

"Ding-ding! Give the boy a prize. You figured it out! I mean I really liked that kiss Nathan, we should try it again sometime. But not now, while I'm in this form," she said pointing to her body. She changed into her normal self in a blink on an eye. One second beautiful Rose and then, 'BAM!' Lily, with her black hair and blue eyes looking deep into your soul!

"So Nathan are you going to introduce me to your friends, or are we going to just stand here awkwardly?" I was still in shock. She rolled her eyes and started walking to Felicia. Just then Tyler grabbed Lily and pushed her up against a tree.

"I remember now," she said smirking at Tyler, "you fell in love! Haha! Your ridiculous, Tyler! You know I always liked you better than Nathan, you know," Tyler was fuming.

"Really then why did you pick him over me?!" Tyler yelled.

"Baby, no need to shout I'm right here!" Lily said in a calm voice, "I picked Nathan because he would fall in and out of love quickly, and you on the other hand didn't fall in love at all. I mean not until you meet this horrible creature!" Lily said pointing to Felicia.

"Leave her out of this!" Tyler said, "now tell me, where is Rose?!" She smirked at Tyler than at me.

"You're all idiots," she started laughing, "I didn't touch Rose, she still in the last place you saw her. In that old, abandoned bomb factory," Felicia shivered in fright, "now that I have told you where she is, Tyler darling, could you let me go?"

"No," he said in a sweet voice, trying to mimic how Lily said it.

"Fine, I wish I didn't Have to do this, but desperate times call for desperate measures," she said she grabbed a pointed branch on the tree and broke it off. As soon as she had it in her grasp she thrust it through Tyler. He groaned in pain. It went all the way through him, he was soaking in his own blood.

"So if that was all," Lily said looking at me, "I will just be going then," she started to walk down the hill. I rushed over to Tyler and took out the branch that was inside of him. "Oh, and one more thing," Lily said stopping died in her tracks, "Rose is on sacred ground, and you know what will happen to her if she stays there to long, don't you Nathan?"

I felt my face heat up from rage. I hated her! I HATE LILY ROSSWIL!! She walked away, and started humming to herself. I started to help Tyler, he trapped my hands and said, "No. You have to go get Rose!"

"But what about you?" I said looking at his wound.

"I will be fine, but Rose won't so hurry and go get her partner,"

"Thank you," I jumped up from where I was sitting and ran to the abounded bomb building, to find my precious Rose!
