Even after three days of Beatrix being dead, it still didn't feel real. The pain of the loss weighed heavily on Fallon's heart, making it difficult to accept the harsh reality. The funeral seemed like a blur as if she were living in a dream.
Standing in the graveyard, surrounded by tombstones and grieving faces, Fallon couldn't help but feel a sense of emptiness.
At night, Fallon found solace in tears, crying herself to sleep. The loneliness engulfed her, and she longed for the comfort of Beatrix's presence. In the morning, she would wake up, momentarily forgetting the crushing reality, only to be reminded that the auburn-haired girl, the girl she loves, was no longer there.
Fallon stood in front of Beatrix's grave alongside Stella who accompanied her. They paid their respects and placed a single Lily upon the grave.
Fallon stayed crouched beside the grave as Stella stood up. "I'll just stay here for a while." She told Stella who understood immediately, walking back towards the school.
"This is a lot harder than if you had just left. At least then I'd find comfort in the fact that you're just far from Alfea... But instead, you're just gone." Her tears fell faster each time Fallon attempted to wipe them away and sobbed louder.
"I'd do anything to have you back." Fallon glanced at her hands as she placed them on the dirt in front of the grave and rested her forehead upon the tombstone.
Black mist circled her arms and reminded her of what Beatrix said in the woods about Sebastian. "It's also why he wants your magic he thinks it might be connected with the shadow entity."
In the book Sebastian had it said Shadow, then maybe it could fear her pleads and he'll her."Please... Bring her back... I don't know if I can let her go... I don't know how to move on."
Fallon's tears absorbed into the dirt, and after a while, Fallon gave up... she was stupid to believe this was work.
The mind fairy stood up, taking her leave from the graveyard. She was about halfway gone when she felt a light electrical shock travel up her body.
At the familiar sensation, she abruptly stopped in her tracks. A sense of hope washed over her as Fallon quickly turned around to find the Auburn girl standing by her grave.
Beatrix looked as if she hadn't even been dead and in a grave. Fallon's eyes welled up at the sight, and Beatrix gave her a sad smile. "You look like you've seen a ghost," Beatrix remarked, trying to lighten the heavy atmosphere. Fallon shook herself out of her shock and ran towards the auburn-haired girl, pulling her into a big hug.
