Chapter 10

When I woke Sesshomaru was not next to me. I looked over to see a note in his place. I picked it up and sat up, keeping the sheets wrapped around my body.

My dear mate, I am sorry that I will not be there to see you wake, I am in a meeting. I will see you after lunch, so there is no need to fret. If you are in danger call for me and I will come find you. Mother is listening for you as well if you need anything, you have the day off today. Get as much rest as you need, go back to sleep, and I will see you soon.

Awww, isn't he sweet. I smiled and laid the note under my pillow as I laid back down. I sighed and closed my eyes.

Sesshomaru's POV

I walked out of the meeting, control yourself, I had to repeat that to myself as to not go back and break a few necks. They continue to wish for me to leave my mate, and to get rid of my pup. Including, they wish for me to mate with the princess of the East, I already mated, I want no one, but my beautiful Rin. I have told them I will not mate with the princess of the East, I never wanted to even before Rin. I clenched my fists as I walked to my room, as I go closer the stronger the scent of my mate hit my nose. I opened the door to see her wrapped up in the white sheets. The sunlight hitting her skin perfectly, making her look like an angel, my angel. I walked over to her side of the bed and knelt down. She had a smile on her face; I forgot what I was so angry about, my heart swelled at the sight of her. I kissed her forehead and she squirmed in her sleep. I moved to undress enough to be comfortable to lay with her.

I laid down behind her, wrapping my arm around her waist. My hand grazed over her small bump, I listened to the two heart beats that have become my whole world. My mate, and my pup.

Jaken came into the room, I glared at him. "Mi-lord, is there anything I can do for you?"

"Bring Rin a tray of food for her to eat." I ordered him.

"Yes mi-lord, right away." He took off and made sure to close the door behind him. I sighed and looked back to my mate, who was now looking back at me.

"Good morning, or is it mid-day already?" She asked me, her voice laced with sleep.

"It is mid-day, Jaken is off to get you food."

"Yay, I am a bit hungry." She stretched, causing the sheets to move, I saw her chest and a low rumble came from my chest. "Behave." I growled at her, in a playful way. This Sesshomaru shall do as he pleases. I listened to her though, against my instincts I listened. I pulled the sheets back over her chest, and she stared wide eyed at me.

"Was I not supposed to listen?" Women are confusing creatures, not matter what species.

"I guess, usually you don't, so..." So she didn't actually want me to listen. I moved myself to hover over her.

"My little vixen." I whispered in her ear as I kissed her mark. The door opened and Jaken came in. I growled and heard him jump.

"Mi-lord Rins food."

"Thank you Jaken." Rin spoke to him, knowing that I would have probably lashed out at him. Her hands running along my bare back to keep me from doing so. Jaked placed the tray on the bedside table and left the room after I growled at him once more when he tried to speak. "Sesshomaru, you should be nicer to him." I growled lowly at her. "Don't you growl at me like that?" She slapped my shoulder gently.

"You need to eat." I rolled off of her, and handed her the tray. She took it from me, and began to eat the items that she enjoyed. She took sips from the water, and continued to eat. She had eaten almost everything when she got full.
