Do You See Now!

Chapter 15

Rin's POV

It has been months since the ball, and Sesshomaru is becoming more protective that he has before, if that is even possible. My stomach is round and almost seems swollen at times, i guess a human carrying a demon child is hard to bare, and painful at times, but it is well worth it. I can't wait until i get to meet the little one. I have been feeling someone moving inside of me too, someone thinks that it is okay to play kick mommy all day.

As of now Sesshomaru is an a meeting, or should I say another meeting. So many meeting, he is always busy we never get to see each other much anymore. Even when it is time to sleep he stays working. I guess i understand his concern i mean there have been a few times where someone has tried to break into the castle, for what reason we can only guess. I wish that Sesshomaru would at least let me wander around the inside of the castle, even for only a few minutes. I am only allowed in our room or in the dining room, or his office, and of course the bathing room.

I wrapped my arms around my stomach when i felt another kick, that was harder than the others. SOmeone kicked again and this time i felt it on my hand. I can feel him moving. I smiled at that, perhaps knowing that our baby is going to be here very soon will calm Sesshomaru down a bit. Or it could increase his craziness of the situation, and that is what i am sticking with, the craziness of the situation.

Speaking of whom, Sesshomaru walked into the bedroom and slammed the door behind him. "Sesshomaru?" I was worried about him, and i stood from the bed. I barely took a step towards him when he growled out at me. I froze, did he just?

"Don't!" He growled out, it frightened me a bit, and i was afraid of him, but more i was afraid for him. He faced the door and had his hands on the door, trying to regain control of himself. His animal is taking over, and he doesn't want to lash out at me. I sighed, and carefully made my way closer to him. The closer i got the louder the growls. His claws had extended his fangs growing, his eyes red, and his markings were jagged. I reached my hand out to reach for him, but he growled out.

"Sesshomaru." I whispered his name, he has been too stressed lately. I placed one of my hands over his on the door, and slowly brought it down to my stomach. He tried to fight it, to not touch me. "Shh, its okay, you won't hurt us." I trusted him with every fiber of my being. I felt a kick to the right side of my stomach and placed his hand there.

He looked over at me, "Wait for it." We waited and soon there was another kick. I watched Sesshomaru return to normal and he dropped to his knees. BOth hands now on either side of my stomach and i couldn't help the smile that tugged on my lips. Sesshomaru placed his forehead to my stomach and then kissed it. The baby kicked again.

"Hey there little one." Sesshomaru is talking to our baby. I think if it is possible to faint from his cuteness right now, i would. Sesshomaru looked up and at me and stood. He took me in his arms and touched our foreheads together. He breathed me in and we both sighed. "I am sorry."

"Dont be, but i know what you could do instead."

"And what would that be?" He pulled away to look at me.

"Cuddle time."

"Rin..."

"Dont, I am your mate, and i would like to spend time with you, i want to spend time with the one that i love, and you will not deny me of this one thing. You have been far too busy and i rarely see you..." I had tears in my eyes at the end, and i saw the hurt in his eyes. He picked me up and carried me to the bed. he laid me down gently and then laid down beside me.

I felt a kick, and this one hurt, a lot. I winced in pain, and Sesshomaru noticed. He asked what he could do, but i couldn't think of anything. The little one continued to kick, hard. Soon, he kicked and I couldn't breathe right. "Rin!?"

I thought hard, "Stop that." I gasped out and placed my hands on my belly. "Shhh." I looked over at Sesshomaru who was afraid to touch me, but that is what i needed, to have him hold me. Wait a minute. I looked down at my stomach and winced again as they now decided to grab my ribs. I grabbed Sesshomaru's hands and placed them on my stomach. The kicking seemed to slow down, but didn't ease up much. It still hurt. "Talk to him..." I begged him, anything, try anything, make him stop. Sesshomaru eyed me, worry filled him, and then he lowered his lips to my stomach.

"You little one, must learn to be gentle with your mother."

"Keep talking." I gasped out as i was trying to breathe, the hold on my ribs loosened and then they let go. I breathed in deeply, air, I can breathe. "YOur mother is a bit fragile I am afraid, you have to take it easy in there." I looked down and watched him, he began to rub soothing circles on my stomach and the kicking stopped. "Your mother and I love you very much, and hope to see you soon, but not too soon, you need to be healthy little one. Do you think you could do your father a favor in there. Try not to kick your mother so hard alright." I felt a kick at that.

"Say that again." I told him.

"Try not to kick your mother so hard." He looked up at me, confusion was evident in his eyes.

The baby kicked again, but much softer, but enough that Sesshomaru could feel it. I giggled, he is speaking to us in his own way. "Tell him something else and see what happens..."

"Is it warm in there?" A kick. "Do you want out yet?" A kick. He responds to us. I smiled down at Sesshomaru who had a growing grin. "Are you going to be careful in there little one?" Two kicks.

I rubbed my hands where Sesshomaru's were not. "I love you, sweet heart." I said looking down at my belly, i felt a few kicks. I had tears in my eyes, and Sesshomaru came up to kiss me.

"I love you both." Sesshomaru said, and i felt a kick. "I think someone heard you." I giggled out.

"You were right, i have been too busy, perhaps i can take off the rest of today, and not work tomorrow."

"Yes.."

I smiled as he kissed me again. "NOw what shall we do?"

"Bath." He chuckled and carried me to the bath.
