Rin's POV

When I woke Sesshomaru was gone, he was not in the house, nor was he in the village. Finally standing and walking towards the front of my home, I saw a letter.

Rin,

I am sorry that I am not there to see you wake, nor will I be there when you fall asleep this night. I have gone back to take care of the problem back home, you are to stay with Inuyasha and Kagome until I return for you. Try to stay out of trouble while you are there, and I cannot believe that I am saying this, but listen to what father and even Izayoi tells you. 'That stays between the two of us!'

I had to stop reading to let out a giggle. Now that is funny, ha my love I have blackmail on you. I stopped laughing and plotting to finish reading.

Get plenty of rest, and don't push yourself too hard. Make sure that you eat plenty for the two of you, and stay away from those chips Kagome brings from her time, they are unhealthy for you and our pup.

Making mental note of that now.

Look up at the night sky, and I assure you, I will look at it too. Smile for me, laugh for me, and tell the little one to go easy on you for me. Stay safe Rin, I will be back sooner than you think.

I couldn't the few tears that had escaped me. I will try my best to do as he has instructed. I then looked down and rubbed my swollen belly. I am sure that I will pop here soon, I just pray that he will be here when it happens. I was taken out of my thoughts when I heard someone outside. Inuyasha came walking in and froze when he saw me holding the letter with tears in my eyes and a few falling down my cheeks.

"What did that Bastard do!?"

"Inuyasha nothing, its alright, he just um. He had to go take care of the troubles back home is all." Inuyasha relaxed a bit and walked over to hug me.

"He'll be back soon Rin."

I held onto him tighter. "Then why does it hurt so much?"

"You love him." He is so right, I do, I do love him.

"At least I have all of you to keep me company, I am not alone."

"You are never alone incase you havent noticed?" He chuckled lightly as he looked at me questionally with his hand hoovering over my belly.

"Go ahead." I nodded at him as he rubbed his hand on my belly.

"He actually did it." He seemed amazed.

"Did what exactly?"

"Did something good for once."

"Inuyasha!"

"It is the truth and you know it."

"He's trying."

"That's good, if he ever hurts you, you tell me first."

"Define hurt me?" I asked him, with a knowing grin on my face. Inuyasha pulled away and looked at me with eyebrows together.

"What are??? Oh that is gross."

"Like you and Kagome don't get a little crazy?" I told him with my hands going to my hips.

"Fine, alright, now we are not having this conversation."

"Ahh, oh, alright fine, you're no fun."

Inuyasha and I finally left my place to go to his. He helped me walk for a while, but almost halfway there I couldn't walk anymore. "Rin?"
