Do You See Now!

Chapter 4

Rin's POV

We now sat in the dining hall to eat dinner, his mother sat across from me, and he sat between the two of us.  She continued to stare at me, and finally I had enough of that.  "What?"  I asked, not trying to be rude, but I wanted to know why she was staring at me.

"You have my first grandchild with in you."  She said plainly, although she seemed to be a bit happy about becoming a grandmother, just not for the fact that I am the one her son chose. 

"Yes I know, I keep getting sick thanks for asking."  I told her.  She seemed to smirk. 

"I do not miss those days, although for you dear it will be more painful and dreadful."

I dropped the food back on the plate and stared at her with wide eyes.  "Wh. What?"

"You are human, and my sons' power is... Well you know..." 

I glared over at Sesshomaru.  "I am going to kill you!"  I told him, and his face turned into one of a bit shock.  "You did this to me!  You are so going to get Mr. You are sleeping outside!" 

"Rin."

"No, do not Rin me...."

"Rin?"

"What!"

"Calm down."

"Do not tell me to calm down."

"Rin this is not good for you or the pup."  I froze and looked at him.  I closed my eyes and willed myself to calm down.  I opened my eyes and slowly started to eat the rest of my food.  I looked up at Iryne.  "Thank you for the heads up."  She nodded in response.  We finished eating, and she actually hugged me before she left to go order someone around.  She probably went to go tell some poor girl how great her life is or how it could have better perhaps even talk badly about me or even about inuyasha.  How inuyasha being related to Lord Sesshomaru curses this name.  Or maybe how Inu-taishu left her for a human woman.  And about how life is cruel and that would explain why the girl is here.  I plan on making nicer for how live is around here, even for the servants and maids.  They will not be treated like trash and they will not have to bow to me at all times.  Nor sesshomaru for that matter, if I have anything to do with it.  Some of the girls are really nice so why not give them a day off or something, or let them do something they want to for at least an hour a day.  Let some of them learn how to read, write or even draw, if they want.  Also to figure out which one I can trust so that in the future, incase Sesshomaru and I want some alone time after this baby comes, someone could watch him.

Sesshomaru and I walked hand in hand to our room.  We changed into our night cloths and climbed into bed.  I snuggled into his side, as I laid on my left side.  "Sesshomaru, I didn't mean what I said at dinner."

"I know love."

"Sesshomaru?"  I asked with a hint of fear and worry in my voice.

"Yes?"

"I'm scared."  I told him and his hold on me tightened, pulling me closer to him.  I began to trace patterns on his bare chest.  What is going to happen to our baby?  What is going to happen to us?  What is our baby going to look like?  So many thoughts and questions running through my mind, I knew that it would cause me to become more stressed than I already was, but I couldn't help it. 

Sesshomaru started to run his fingers through my because he knew that it helped calm me and to help put me to sleep.  I snuggled in closet to him as much as I could, and closed my eyes.

The field of wild flowers was beyond beautiful.  There were so many flowers, and in so many different colors, it was like a rainbow on the ground.  The field of wild flowers was surrounded by tall ancient like trees.  I knelt down to take a closer look at some of the flowers and then stood.  As I was walking through the flowers I felt a slight pain in my stomach.  My hands went to my stomach as I began to feel something wet go down my legs.  What?  What is this?  I brought my hands up to look at them.... Blood.... What???  What is this, what is going on?  My baby?  I looked down to see a pool of blood at my feet.  I looked around for help to see that the field of flowers began to turn black and die.  Soon the trees began to die as well. 

"Sesshomaru!!!"  I screamed, I screamed for him, it was like a blood curdling scream that could haunt someone for the rest of their lives.   "Sesshomaru!!!"  I screamed again. Where is he?  What is happening?  "Sesshomaru!!!!!!!!"  My vision was started to blur.
