Do You See Now!

Chapter 34

I know I said that this chapter would be longer, but I like where it ends so I am going to leave it there.  Please enjoy and let me know your thoughts on it please.

Sesshomaru ran alongside Blaze, and as we got closer to our destination I changed my attire. It was surprising that my assassin gear still fit after being pregnant. I will end this all here, after this I can have a happy life with my mate, and my son. I don't want to lose anyone else to this monster, to the thing called life. I can't lose anyone else, if I lost the ones that I love the most, it will be the end of me. Sesshomaru came to a stop, following his lead, Blaze halted instantly. Sesshomaru was listening and focusing on our surroundings, closing my eyes I did the same. We were close, so very close. On the other side of these trees was a small village that they had just attacked, no survivors, or none that I can sense. Bandits were drinking, and gathering any item that may appeal to them, or fighting amongst each other of who gets what and why. Their boss sat inside the main home of the village, and awaited for the men to bring him any of their findings they knew that he would want.

I came back to my body, or that is the feeling I get, an out of body type thing that is difficult to explain. Sesshomaru looked at me, and all I could do was focus on was the demon that killed my family. I got off of Blaze and my feet connected to the ground. Staring in the direction of the village, something else came over me as I looked over the bandits again, and my blood ran cold, my body froze and shook from the memories that followed from the men I saw sitting in a circle.

'Renji hid me as he told me he would be back, he ran off and all I heard after was my brother's screams, my father trying to fight the men off, and my mother's screams of panic, and attempts to save her children. Soon I saw my mother thrown to the ground and beaten as men surrounded her. They were laughing, and spitting on her, while one man began to rip her clothes off, along with his own.

The men beat her and watched as they all had their fun with her. Screaming the entire time, they never once stopped, they never gave her a break, they didn't stop until she was dead. Her dead eyes stared up at the sky that was filled with stench of blood, death, and sweat, and a scent I was unfamiliar with at the time. The men cleaned themselves up the best they could, before giving her body a final kick. I heard my father cry out, and they all allowed him to go to her body. Falling to his knees a power surged around him, but they shot an arrow through his chest before he could do anything. Covering my mouth with my tiny hands, as I had watched in horror these men had brought upon my life. Tears rolled down my cheeks, and I prayed that Renji would come back to get me like he had promised, but he never showed.

I had waited for two days without moving, until I realized that no one was coming, that I was all that was left.'

I jumped when I felt a hand on caress my face, but relaxed some when I realized it was only sesshomaru. Out of that memory there was one that stuck out the most, the image of what those men had done, and their faces. Their faces were burned and will forever be engraved into my memory, along with the eyes of the demon that had sent them. He had seen me, yet he had done nothing, it was best for me to suffer. My body was shaking, and I could hear sesshomaru saying something, but I couldn't make out what it was.

"We kill them all!" There was a tone in my voice that I didn't know I processed. Honestly if I wasn't focused on killing these men that ruined my life, I would have feared myself. Though then again if I thought about things rationally, I wondered if I would have ever met Sesshomaru if I hadn't lost my family. Would I have wondered off into the woods that morning to get away from the villagers, or to be alone, would have done it to run from my brothers as we played? What could have happened if my family wasn't killed? What could have happened if I knew how to use my powers, if I had even had them back then???

A tear fell to the ground, and soaked up by the earth only for the area of the tear to turn black, surrounding trees or any form of plant life died. Sesshomaru stared at me, it felt like he didn't even know who I was, I could see it in his eyes, though I could also see that he knew I was hurting.

Alright, no more games this ends today, no one will go after my family, I will no longer have to wonder if my son will be next. Stretching my arms out slightly I breathed in deeply and could feel the power coursing through my veins. The surge of power was released from within me killing every plant life, or living creature in my way to these monsters.

Third person

Rin's anger and motherly instincts to protect the future of her child had overwhelmed her and gave her the power that could go up against the the wind scar, or even backlash wave without a problem. She could fight off any attack that Inuyasha or Sesshomaru could throw at her. She was in a state that only a few witches in the past had accomplished. Something that occurs rarely because of the dangers, because most could never obtain such power no longer how long they lived. Rin is possibly one of the most powerful of her kind, plus the fact she was mated to the strongest of demons. Lord Sesshomaru's power is now her power.

As everything around her died, all eyes from the bandits were now on her, and Sesshomaru. One of the men shot an arrow at her, but it vanished before it got near her. There was a force field around her and Sesshomaru, nothing could reach them, and nothing could stop her from killing every last one of them. Waving one of her hands in front of her half of the men went flying into the air, and then slamming into the ground or wherever the wind had taken them. Men charged forward, only to be chopped down by an angry dog demon, for what these men had caused his mate to go through as a child, and the pain and nightmares that still haunt her.

Rin stepped forward killing anything she touched, her eyes going dark, the witch was taking over, and if she wasn't careful, Rin would be overwhelmed with power, and would surrender to it.
