Do You See Now!

Chapter 11

Rin's POV

I watched Iryne carefully as she walked over and took the seat next to me. She was as far away from No-Taishu as she could be at the table. She spoke to no one for the time being which shocked Sesshomaru and I a bit, and I could see that it shocked Inu-no-taishu as well. Food was placed on the table, and we all got what we wanted. The cooks and servants knew what I did and did not like, so they were sure as to not have it on the table. I was given a glass of tea, and I had also asked one of the servants for a glass of mild as well, I was in the mood for mild too.

"Rin, get plenty of sleep tonight, because you have a lot of work ahead of you tomorrow." Iryne told me

"Okay, I will try."

We all continued to eat in silence, except for Kit telling everyone about her playing with Sango and Miroku's kids. And of course about her new little sibling that should be arriving in a few months or so. I smiled at Kit and she giggled.

"Auntie Rin, do the trick do the trick." She said all excited and jumpy like. I smiled at her and looked over at Sesshomaru for permission to do a little bit of magic for Kit. He nodded his head slightly and I took one of the food covers and placed it over Kit's plate.

"You ready?" She nodded her head and I took the cover off. Her food was gone. I put the cover back on and then off again and her food reappeared.

She giggled and clapped her hands together. "Do another one."

"One more." I told her sternly but with a smile on my face. I took a grape in my hand and then closed my hand and reopened it, the grape was gone. I then reached over to Sesshomaru, behind his ear, and pulled the grape out.

"How do you do that?" Kit asked me, her little voice filled with curiosity.

"Magic."

"Cool, I want to know how to do that." Then Iryne jumped in.

"Perhaps Rin might be able to how you a trick or two later little one." Everyone stared at her. Has she lost her mind, I don't even know who she is right now, if I don't know then I sure know that Sesshomaru and Inu-no-Taishu are confused as well, I could see it on their faces. I smiled at Iryne and she just stayed the same as always, no emotion on her face, but I could see it in her eyes. I think that she wanted a little girl after Sesshomaru had been born.

After eating dinner I said my goodnights to Kagome, Inuyasha, Kit, Izayoi and Inu-no-Taishu, I even hugged Iryne who actually returned the hug, slightly. I smiled at Sesshomaru as I took his hand and we walked together towards our room. Sesshomaru and I got ready for bed, we climbed into the tub I sat in his lap and leaned against him. I smiled when his arms wrapped around me. Soon we began to help clean each other. I giggled when Sesshomaru found a spot where I was ticklish. "Stop that." I giggled and he did. Sesshomaru and I got out and dried off, we got dressed, and once we laid down I felt this pain in my head.

I felt this pain in my chest, but it wasn't my own. "Rin?" Sesshomaru asked me, his voice filled with worry. "It's not me. Kit, go to Kit now, please, She Can't breathe!" I struggled to catch my breathing as Sesshomaru took off towards Kagome and Inuyasha's room. I sat up in bed, and swung my legs over the bed and headed towards Kit. I walked into the room to see Kagome in freaking out, Sesshomaru was trying to calm her down, while Inuyasha was breathing into kits mouth, and then pumping on her chest.

"Inuyasha move." I told him. "Please, I can help." He did as I had told him, and went to take kagome into his arms. "Kit, sweetheart I need you to breathe for me. Can you hear me?" I could see her trying to breathe, she was making little wheezing sounds. Her eyes opened and I knew she was terrifiyed. "I need you to calm down for me okay, I'm going to make you better." I placed one hand over her chest, and the other over her forehead. I murmured a spell repeatedly, over and over. Until she took in a sharp intake of breath and I helped her sit up. "Sesshomaru go to the kitchen and grab my bag please." He left and came back in shortly after with my bag in hand. I took my bag and opened it up, I took out a few different bottles with different herbs in them. I put them in my mouth, and chewed. I then turned to Kit. "Open wide Kit." She opened her mouth, and I blew into her mouth gently. When I stopped Kit coughed a few times, and she seemed to bright up as if nothing has happened. "Good girl."

I walked over to sesshomaru with my bag in hand, and we left to go back to our room, after I told Kagome and Inuyasha to come get me if there was anything else wrong with Kit.

"What was wrong with her?" Sesshomaru asked me, as we laid back down in bed.

"Someone tried to curse me, but instead it bounced to Kit, I don't know why."

Sesshomaru laid down in my usual spot so that I could lay on his chest, but also so that I would be on my left side while lying on his chest. I smiled when I felt his bare chest, his heart beating against my hand. He kissed my forehead and started to trace his fingers along my body. I lifted my head to look up at him.

"I wish that no one was after us." I whispered out, and he kissed my forehead again, and pushed my head back down to his shoulder. I kissed his neck, and heard him make a purr like noise. I threw my leg over his, and got more comfortable, closing my eyes, sleep took me.
