Chapter 14: Unfamiliar
"Why do you have to be in my way... Yurika...?"
Those words made Yurika's blood ran cold, Yurika starts to back away slowly and her feets are trembling. Slowly, Taro starts moving closer to her, with a grin in his face.
"Where do you think your going, Yurika?" Taro questioned Yurika but Yurika didn't respond.
Taro moves closer to her until he was an inch away from her, Yurika feels the air thicken around them and for the first time she was terrified... inside..
Taro leans in to Yurika's ear and whispers something and this made Yurika push Taro away and left the Office quickly, When Taro saw this he grinned.
"Run away little girl..."
Yurika left the school with nervousness in her face, "What the hell did I just witness..?" She said to herself, she was wearing a black coat that time but still the cold could still reach her, like the cold was the indicator that a threat was nearby and it was Taro Taiping.
PIPPI'S HOUSE
Lenka, Pippi's mother returned to her house she throws her bag and she was still in pale, She went to Pippi's room and starts looking around. She then finds a picture of Pippi then smiles.
"I really miss your smile love..." She said, and she embraces the photo frame like it was Pippi, she then starts tearing up and sobs.
After that she continues to look around her room, the air was cold, the winds blows from outside of Pippi's window, Pippi's flowers were still blooming. Lenka notices this and smiles.
"It seems like You're really here Pippi... You're room is still alive... whether you are gone or not.. at least something didn't let go.." Lenka said and continues to tear up, she sits on the bed where Pippi sleeps and her black dress almost covers the entire bed.
She then lays down on Pippi's bed and smiles softly, "My baby...I still feel you..." She said.
THE NEXT DAY
It was early in the morning around 5:40AM and everybody was getting ready for school after a week of suspension because of Sumire's case, Yurika wakes up tired and kind of forgot what happened yesterday but she still remembers that she met with Principal Taiping.
She then dresses herself up with the white uniform and a red tie around the neck tie of her uniform, she was confident, she looks at the mirror and sees herself. "Be confident... Yurika.. Don't fake your smile.."
She then got a call from someone, she grabs her phone from her desk and she saw that Midori was calling, she answers the phone call.
"Saan kana bes? Nandito nako sa labas." Midori said, Midori was outside of Yurika's house waiting for Yurika to come out because they always go together when entering the school premises.
"Alright, I'll be there in a minute." Yurika said, she grabs her bag and prepares her lunch and put it inside her bag, she opens the door and sees Midori.
Midori smiles softly, "Geez, I have been waiting for you to come for eternity and finally." Midori sighed, "Are you serious.. It's only just been 2 minutes since you called." Yurika said with a cold expression, after that they started walking towards the Bus Waiting area.
"I still can't believe that Pippi really died.." Midori said, Yurika then replies, "I know... me too.. by the way do you have any information about her mother?" Yurika said and looks at Midori.
Midori replies, "Hmm? I do know where they're house is.. Why?" She said, Yurika then said, "I was just curious can you give me the address? I just want to say condolence to her mother.." Yurika said,
