CHAPTER 20

Chaoter 20: Flashbacks

Yurika rides a bus to the Akita Region to meet with Mrs. Hanada, she's desperate to get some answers from her, because her mother never taught her anything about their lineage.

Yurika looks out on the bus Window as the bus arrives in the mountainous area, she remembers the words Mrs. Nikayawa says that Mrs. Hanada was the grandmother of Pippi.

"Is it a coincidence?" Yurika says to herself as she looks out the window ready to know the truth once and for all.

FLASHBACK

Back then Yurika grew up without any feelings or emotions, while she was in kindergarten she had no friends nor anyone who wanted to talk or play with her.

The only person that would talk to her is her mother Ryoba, Ryoba understands Yurika's emotionless because Ryoba experienced it too when she was a child.

Ryoba would tell her that someday, someone would come fix her of whom she was and Yurika believes her mother.

In the other hand, Yurika's father was very distant from Ryoba and Yurika, but Yurika's father loved Yurika she adored Yurika but when Ryoba is not around.

Ryoba didn't explain Yurika her story with her father because Ryoba said that "You are not ready to know the truth, Yurika."

Those words sparked Yurika to wanting to know the truth, if Ryoba won't tell her daughter the truth, Yurika will do her own research and findings of what's happening to her.

And there was a one time when Ryoba was chopping some carrots in the kitchen and Yurika was helping her mother, Ryoba smirks and "Accidently" cut herself with a knife and her fingers starts to bleed.

"Yurika, My daughter can you pass me a cloth?" Ryoba says to Yurika while staying positive around her.

Yurika nods and went to get some cloth, Yurika then startedd to wipe down the blood that came out from Ryoba.

"Mommy, It's done." Yurika says in a cute but empty voice.

Ryoba then smiles and replies, "No, honey I think the blood is still there."

Yurika was then confused, she wiped the table clean and there's no trace of blood left, only to her.

Ryoba then goes to her bedroom and grabbed a blood sensor that can detect blood if the light's are off.

Ryoba then turns off the light and hses the Blood Sensor and shows it to Yurika on whose only 9 Years Old.

"See, Yurika..? the blood is still there?" Ryoba says as she stares at Yurika smirking.

Yurika nods slowly as she understands how Blood Sensors works.

"Police uses Blood sensors to detect if a murder has happened to catch the suspect." Ryoba says.

"But.. if you grab an alcohol or some bleach," Ryoba then sprays an alcohol to where the blood was and wipes it with a cloth, "Then, the blood trace will be gone."

Ryoba uses the Blood Sensor again and now this time there is no blood trace, Yurika listened and watched the whole time as her eyes was black.

It felt like Yurika was being manipulated and controlled by her mother Ryoba, Ryoba smirks again.

"Oh I forgot, let's continue to make food before your father get's home!" Ryoba says.

And soon after the two continued to chop down some vegetables like nothing happened, It was like her mother teached her something that would be useful in the future.
