"What....." a girl jumped from her sleep and sat up in bed. "What do you mean he left like that, just like that, without even fighting back? Come on, Jenn, that's not like Tae," she told her cousin Jennie.

"Well, thank goodness he didn't cause a scene and just listened to what uncle said to him," Jennie responded. "Y/N, don't stress too much. Just let me know when you're coming back."

Y/N, still worried, pressed for more details. "Jennie, are you sure Tae's okay? He wouldn't just leave like that without saying anything. What did Dad tell him?"

Jennie tried to offer reassurance. "Y/N, I know it's strange, but your dad insisted it was for the best. He said Tae needed some time away. I trust him; he always has our family's best interests at heart."

Y/N sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "I just wish he had talked to me about it, you know? I'm coming back as soon as I can to check on him."

Jennie agreed, "That's a good idea. Come back, and we'll figure this out together."

After their conversation, Y/N disconnected the call and lay back on her bed. Her mind raced with thoughts about her brother, Kim Taehyung, and the complexities of the situation. She couldn't help but wonder if there was a way to make things right for him.

As she thought about her dad's actions, she realized he was probably doing what he believed was best to protect Tae. Still, she couldn't shake the frustration of not being able to do anything to resolve the situation. Why did everything have to be so complicated?

Restless and unable to sleep, Y/N finally rose from her bed. It was only 4 in the morning, but her thoughts kept her awake. She decided to take a walk to clear her mind.

As Y/N strolled through the dimly lit alley, a sense of unease began to wash over her. She usually enjoyed these solitary walks in the quiet hours of the morning, relishing the solitude. But today was different. An eerie feeling, like someone's eyes were trained on her, lingered in the air. She quickened her pace, her heart pounding, all her senses on high alert, as if bracing for an imminent encounter.

As Y/N hurried her steps, she suddenly felt a presence closing in on her. Before she could react, a mysterious figure emerged from the shadows, cornering her in the narrow alley. A sharp, stinging sensation shot through her neck, and her head began to spin. She was about to collapse to the ground when strong arms held her tightly.

Just before everything went dark, she heard her kidnapper whisper with a chilling tone, "Rest well, my dear. You've just entered a nightmare from which you'll never awaken."
