The church resonated with a mix of joy and tension as Y/n walked down the aisle, confident and beautiful, her arm entwined with her father's. Every eye in the room was fixed on her and, at the altar, Jungkook cut a striking figure. Handsome and composed, he seemed unaffected by the many stares directed his way. His focus was solely on the girl walking towards him, and he couldn't bring himself to avert his eyes for a second. As she neared, he extended his hand automatically, inviting her to join him on the stage. However, when he glanced at the hand that held hers tightly and protectively, his gaze shifted to the man beside her—her father. There was something unspoken exchanged in their look, a silent promise that didn't go unnoticed by Y/n. She looked at the two men, confusion clouding her features, as if they were communicating in a language only they understood.

After that, Jungkook took Y/n's hand, and the ceremony commenced. As the priest spoke, guiding them through the sacred vows, Y/n and Jungkook exchanged glances. The tension in the air was palpable as they faced each other, each word of the vows resonating with a weight that neither of them could fully escape.

Jungkook, his voice steady but distant, began, "I take you, Y/n, to be my lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part." He said directly looking at her.

Y/n, her eyes reflecting a mixture of defiance and resignation with a cold look, responded, "I take you, Jungkook, to be my lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part."

The vows hung in the air, carrying with them the weight of a reluctant acceptance, a commitment made in the face of circumstances neither of them had anticipated.

As the ceremony reached its pinnacle, the priest declared, "You may now kiss your bride."

Jungkook and Y/n turned to face each other, and for a moment, the air hung heavy with tension. Despite the frostiness between them, there was an undeniable electricity in the atmosphere. Jungkook hesitated for a brief moment, his eyes meeting Y/n's intense gaze. As he devilishly smiled and moved toward her, Y/n glared at him, her expression turning visibly irritated. He approached her, holding her waist, which made her nervous. Close to her face, Y/n felt an increasing sense of discomfort. She closed her eyes, bracing herself for what was to come. The clapping sounds abruptly interrupted the suspense. Y/n opened her eyes, only to find Jungkook in front of her, wearing the same arrogant smirk he always carried. To her relief and frustration, he hadn't actually kissed her; it was just a performance for the onlookers.

The applause echoed in the hall as Jungkook and Y/n broke apart, each playing their part in this elaborate facade. Y/n shot him a cold glare, her distaste evident in her eyes.

She looked at his face hatefully, and upon noticing her stare, he turned to her with a devilish smirk. Looking at her with the same arrogant expression, he said, 'What! Don't tell me you're disappointed that I didn't kiss you?'

Y/n scoffed at Jungkook, her eyes narrowing with a mixture of contempt and frustration. "Don't you think you're being too delusional? As if I'd ever want to be touched by you," she spat out, her words laced with venom. Her gaze bore into Jungkook, the intensity of her disdain evident in the icy depths of her eyes. "You disgust me!"

In a split second, his eyes held something—hurt or guilt—briefly flickering before he concealed it with his famous arrogant smirk. "Ohhh!! How can you say that to your husband on the first day of our marriage, Y/n! Don't you think you're being too cruel to your handsome husband?" he playfully teased, the smirk on his face belying a hint of amusement despite her obvious disdain.

As Jungkook continued with his teasing, a wave of conflicting emotions washed over Y/n. The hatred she felt collided with a lingering sense of discomfort and unease. The air crackled with tension, and the newlyweds stood at the precipice of a tumultuous journey, their emotions swirling like a tempest, leaving an indelible mark on the beginning of their unconventional union. but before she could utter a word, Jimin intervened, saying, "Congratulations, my dear cousin." He winked at Jungkook and added, "Welcome to the family, finally." A shared smirk passed between Jungkook and Jimin, eliciting a scoff from Y/n.

Her gaze then fell upon someone in the crowd, and as Rose approached to extend her congratulations to Y/n, they exchanged nods. Y/n, however, redirected her attention to the person she had spotted earlier, only to find them gone. With a sigh, she closed her eyes, a sense of unease settling over her.

Noticing Y/n's attention elsewhere, Jungkook also glanced in the direction she was looking, but couldn't find anyone. When he looked back at her, to his surprise, she was staring at him with a raised eyebrow, and he found that expression of hers cute.

He had a small smile on his lips, a really tiny one that no one noticed except for someone. 'Yaah, why are you smiling like that? You look like an idiot,' Jimin teased Jungkook.

"What? I'm not smiling," Jungkook protested, shooting a quick glance at his cousin.

"You totally are," Jimin retorted, grinning mischievously. "It's written all over your face."

Jungkook rolled his eyes, but a small grin tugged at the corners of his lips. "Okay, maybe I am, but that doesn't mean I look like an idiot."

"Agree to disagree," Jimin chuckled, nudging Jungkook playfully.

Their banter stopped abruptly as Taehyung and Jisoo approached them. Jisoo turned to Y/n and Jungkook, her voice soft but firm, "You guys really look beautiful together." She then fixed her gaze on Jungkook, her tone turning serious, "Be good to her. If I ever find out that you mistreated her, I'm going to make you regret it, I swear." She shot a glare at her brother.

Jungkook greeted his sister with a smile, but Jisoo wasn't swayed. "Well, hello to you too, sis," he said, his tone light. "Don't you think you're being too cruel to your only brother? You're talking to your only brother after almost a month."

"Whose fault is it?" Jisoo retorted, turning her attention back to Jungkook.

Averting his eyes, Jungkook replied, "What? Don't tell me my dear brother-in-law doesn't let you meet your brother."

"Yaah, don't speak rubbish," Jisoo shot back, glaring at her brother, but Jungkook felt relieved knowing his sister was okay.

Breaking their conversation, Taehyung addressed Jungkook, "Let's forget about everything going on between our families. Without any war, a new start. That's what me and Jisoo ever wanted." His voice turned cold and determined as he added, "But if I see a single tear in her eyes because of you, I'll forget the fact that you are the brother of the love of my life."

"Well, I said it before and I'm saying it again. It's in your hands to ensure your sister's safety," Jungkook replied, matching Taehyung's cold and determined tone.

Jisoo looked between her brother and her husband, the most important people in her life, unable to bear the tension between them.

Y/n felt annoyed, about to intervene, but before she could say anything, someone else spoke up, "What a lovely sight we have here. Not one, but two couples from the families fighting over a decade. Something we should register in the history for the coming generations to see."

Everyone standing there became alert, turning to look at the person who spoke. Jungkook's face twisted with anger as he uttered, "G-Dragon."
