In the heart of the enormous Kim Mansion, a big family lives together. They have their ups and downs like any other family, but when problems come, they stick together. People around respect them for their good reputation in society, and their jobs and businesses are just as respectable. Their home is always bustling with activity; it feels like a party every day. Despite the usual challenges, the family is close-knit.

Today is especially lively because after eight months, someone is coming back home. Everyone is excited, thinking that even Kim Taehyung, who had some issues recently, has come back to his senses. The family is in high spirits, unaware of the trouble quietly approaching to take away their happiness.

The head maid, a middle-aged woman who has served the Kim Mansion for 32 years, gathers a group of men and women under her command. Instructing them with precision, she says, "Place sugar candies in her rooms, the refrigerator in the poolside, and all the corners of the mansion." They all nodded their heads and went to do their work.

"I was going to tell you that, Sister Jeena, but as usual, you beat me to it. I know y/n is close to you, and I trust that you have her best interests at heart. And ahh, please put the candy in the tree house on the west side of the mansion, as you know she would probably spend her time there."

"Don't say please, Mrs. Kim; this is not just a job for me, and all the kids in the house are my kids as they don't treat me any differently."

"Aunt Shin-hye!" a girl screamed from the entrance of the mansion, startling both women.

Placing her hand on her heart, Kim Shin-hye replied to the girl, "Oh, Jennie, you just startled us."

"Sorry, Aunt, and sorry, Jeena mom. I was so excited that she is coming back after 8 months. Can you believe that idiot left me for 8 months? Well, Aunt, you shouldn't have let her go far from us."

"Why would I stop her? I would never stop any of you from doing anything your heart desires. Ah, but if any of you are going to destroy your life, then I couldn't let that happen," Shin-hye said, looking at the person who is silently standing there on the last forth step of the stairs.

The person walked toward them with mixed emotions on his face. "Mom, I'm not trying to destroy my life, okay? I'm in love with her, and from all the people, I thought you would understand."

Seeing the scene getting out of hand, Jennie tried to change the topic. "Tae, let's have a party tonight at Lux. It's been very long since we all partied together, and everyone is in town as Y/N is also coming. Please don't say no."

"Why would I say no? I miss our gatherings too, and that idiot too," Taehyung said. He bowed to the elders, hugged Jennie, and left from there.

After Taehyung left, a heavy silence lingered in the air. Shin-hye's face wore a tense expression, worry etched into her features. She turned to Jeena, concern evident in her eyes.

Shin-hye: "Jeena Sister, do you think he's making the right decisions? I'm so worried about Tae."

Jeena, though trying to hide her own concern, replied with a reassuring tone: "Mrs. Kim, we've seen them grow up. Love is a tricky thing, but we need to trust that Tae will find his way. We can guide him, but ultimately, it's his journey."

Shin-hye nodded, her gaze still fixed on the spot where Taehyung had disappeared. "I just don't want anything bad to happen to him, or any of the kids in this house. It's a mother's worry, you know?"

Jeena placed a comforting hand on Shin-hye's shoulder: "I understand, Shin-hye. We all care deeply for these kids. But let's trust that they'll make the right choices and face the consequences, whatever they may be."

Just then, Jennie stepped in, her youthful energy providing a sense of comfort to the worried elders.

Jennie: "Aunt Shin-hye, Jeena Mom, don't worry too much. Tae will be fine, and nothing bad is going to happen to any of us. We've been through a lot together, and we've always come out strong."

Shin-hye managed a weak smile, appreciating Jennie's optimism, while Jeena added, "Jennie's right. Our kids are resilient, and they know how to handle life's challenges. Let's hope for the best and be there for them when they need us."

As they stood in the grand foyer of the Kim Mansion, the weight of the unknown future hung in the air, and the three women shared a silent hope that everything would turn out well for their beloved family.
