**Y/n's POV**

"So you're going to marry Jeon Jungkook," Jennie asked me, more like glaring at me as she continued, "and don't you dare tell me the bullshit like you want peace and all. And before you say it's about Tae, then don't. I know you love your brother, and you will do anything for your brother, but a cross marriage? No."

"Jen—" Before I could say anything to her, she cut me off, saying, "Y/n, don't destroy your life thinking about the past and revenge. I know you hate him as if you want to kill him. Y/n, you are better than this."

Tears welled up in my eyes as I confessed, "Jen, five years. It's been five years that I get peaceful sleep, and he is happy after destroying innocent people's lives. No, Jennie. He has to pay for the sins he committed, and I will make sure he will pay."

Jennie's gaze softened, and she took my hands in hers, "Y/n, I understand your pain, but revenge won't heal your wounds. It will only deepen them. You are not alone; we will find another way, a way for you to find peace without sacrificing yourself."

I shook my head, tears streaming down my face, "Jennie, I appreciate your concern, but the darkness he brought into my life can only be dispelled by holding him accountable. I can't let him go unpunished."

Jennie sighed, her eyes reflecting sorrow, "Y/n, you are destroying your life by doing this. Don't lose yourself in this darkness. There's always a choice, a chance for healing, and I'll stand by you no matter what you decide."

Realizing the weight of the conversation, Jennie decided to change the topic, her voice becoming lighter, "You know what? We need a break from all this drama. How about we hit the club? Remember the times we used to go out, get drunk, and dance like there's no tomorrow? Let's do that tonight, just like old times."

I hesitated, still enveloped in the heaviness of the situation. Jennie, however, persisted, "Come on, Y/n. We need a girls' night out. It'll be a temporary escape from all of this. What do you say?"

Reluctantly, a small smile formed on my face, "Alright, let's do it. A night to forget, at least for a while."

**Author's POV**

At the club, Y/n exclaimed, "Wohhh, what is this place? It's freakin' awesome!" She turned to Jennie, who was equally excited, and continued, "I know, right? This place is the hottest topic in Seoul right now!" The pulsating beats and vibrant lights set the stage for a night of escapade and, for a moment, helped them forget the troubles waiting outside the club's doors.

Amidst the pulsating beats and vibrant lights of the club, Y/n and Jennie immersed themselves in the lively atmosphere.

Y/n shouted over the music, "Jennie, this is exactly what I needed! A break from all the chaos."

Jennie grinned, "I told you, girl! Tonight, we dance, drink, and forget about everything else."

They moved to the rhythm, dancing away their worries. Jennie handed Y/n a drink, saying, "To a night of freedom and forgetting the world!"

Y/n raised her glass, "To freedom!" They clinked their glasses and took a sip, the music guiding their carefree movements.

As they danced and laughed, Y/n felt a weight lifting off her shoulders. The club became a sanctuary, a temporary escape from the tangled web of emotions waiting for her outside.

After a while of dancing and letting loose, Jennie's playful side emerged. Spotting a charismatic stranger on the dance floor, she shot a mischievous glance at Y/n.

Jennie nudged Y/n and teased, "Watch this, Y/n. I'm going to show you how to have some fun!" With a wink, she sauntered over to the random guy, engaging him in a lively conversation. Laughter and playful banter filled the air as they danced together.

Y/n couldn't help but laugh at Jennie's bold approach. "You're unbelievable, Jennie!"

Jennie, still dancing with the stranger, looked back and shouted, "Life's too short not to enjoy every moment!"

"I'm going to get myself another strong drink." She waved to Jennie as Jennie shook her head and continued her flirting and dancing.

As Y/n walked to the bar counter, she asked the bartender, "Can I get a strong drink?"

As Y/n stood at the bar, waiting for her strong drink, a guy with a cocky smirk approached her. "Why does a beautiful girl like you need to have a strong drink?" he asked, his tone suggestive. His eyes roamed over her, making her uncomfortable.

Y/n, not interested in his advances, replied, "Just enjoying the night, you know?"

Introducing himself with a charming smile, said, "Well, enjoying the night is better with good company. I'm Joshua Hong."

Y/n, maintaining politeness but clear boundaries, responded, "Nice to meet you, Joshua. I'm here for a girls' night out, though."

Joshua, undeterred by the friendly rejection, continued, "A girls' night out sounds even better with a charming gentleman around. What do you say?"

Y/n, growing more irritated, shot back, "I appreciate the offer, Joshua, but I'm not looking for anyone to 'share the burden' with tonight. Excuse me."

She attempted to move away, but Joshua Hong, undeterred, continued his flirtatious banter, "Come on, sweetheart, don't be so cold. I can make your night much more interesting."

Y/n, clearly unimpressed, shot him a stern look and said, "I prefer my nights drama-free. Please, leave me alone." She finally managed to distance herself from Joshua's unwelcome advances, carrying her strong drink to a different part of the club.

As Y/n distanced herself from Joshua's unwelcome advances, she found a more comfortable spot in the club. Frustrated by the encounter, she took her strong drink and, in one determined gulp, downed its contents. The fiery liquid burned her throat, momentarily eclipsing the annoyance caused by the unwanted attention.

As Y/n navigated through the lively crowd, eager to join Jennie and put the unpleasant encounter behind her, someone clumsily bumped into her, causing them to spill their drink on her dress. Frustrated by the unexpected mishap, Y/n decided to make her way to the restroom. Weaving through the crowd, she hoped to salvage what she could of her night by cleaning up and, with any luck, putting an end to the string of unfortunate events that had marred her evening so far.

As Y/n made her way back from the restroom, she couldn't shake off the feeling that the night had more surprises in store. To her dismay, she spotted Joshua Hong, the persistent guy who had flirted with her earlier. Sensing trouble, she quickened her pace, but he intercepted her path, resuming his unwelcome advances.

Joshua Hong: "Hey there, beautiful! Fancy meeting you again."

Y/n, trying to keep it brief "I'm not interested. Please, let me pass."

Joshua Hong, undeterred "Come on, don't be like that. We were just getting to know each other."

Y/n, growing frustrated "I've got no interest in getting to know you. Move aside."

Joshua Hong, smirking said to Y/n "Feisty, I like that. Why don't we—"

Y/n, cutting him off by saying "No. Leave me alone."

As Y/n firmly rejected Joshua Hong's advances, he grew bolder and attempted to touch her. Feeling increasingly uncomfortable, Y/n swiftly stepped back, creating distance between them.

Joshua Hong, with a sly grin said "Come on, sweetheart, just a friendly touch."

Y/n, sternly said "I said no. Keep your distance."

Just as the situation escalated, someone unexpectedly intervened. Swiftly approaching, they took Y/n's hand from Joshua Hong's grip and, with a powerful punch, confronted Joshua.

"I hate people touching what's mine."

That's when she looked at the person who saved her, Jeon Jungkook, the person who destroyed her past.
