8. A Nightclub Saga

Seoul's most famous night club, DW Club, also known as Dark & Wild night club, is the current hotspot, boasting expensive booze from around the world. It's a fantastical realm where anything can be found. Young people dance and flirt, immersing themselves in alcohol. The club is expansive, spanning three floors. The main action unfolds on the ground floor, the first floor caters to VIP customers paying more, and the third floor is reserved for the staff.

In an open area near the stairs on the second floor, six people are gathered. Five sit on the sofa, facing—or more accurately, glaring at—the man standing and leaning against the stair handle, Jungkook. A girl with blond hair speaks up, 'Yah, are you crazy? Out of all people, why her?'

'Don't be so dramatic, Rose. And I thought you liked her,' Jungkook says with a smirk. Rose replies, 'Yeah, I do. She's like a crush for me, even though I'm straight. But that's not the point here. You can't do this, you can't marry her because you want to protect Jisoo. You can't use one girl's life to protect another's, and Jisoo is happy with Taehyung. We must trust her decision. Jimin, can you help a little?' Rose glanced at her brother, who was staring, ignoring everything going on around him. When he heard his name, he replied to Rose, 'What help? Right now, the only thing important to me is Jisoo's safety.'

Upon hearing this, another girl chimed in, 'Yes, Jimin is right, Rose. It doesn't matter that we trust Jisoo's decision or not, but we don't trust the Kims or that Taehyung guy.' Rose looked pissed at the other girl and said, 'Are you out of your mind, Lisa? Jisoo is my cousin too, okay? I love her as much as any of you do, but we can't ignore the fact that this idiot is using another girl to protect his sister. Y/N doesn't deserve that, and...' She stopped and looked at her cousin Jungkook and said, 'You don't deserve that either. You don't have to compromise your whole life, man.' She looked around and said to two other people who were silently listening to everything, 'Hoseok and Yoongi, why are you silent? Don't you have anything to say? You guys can't let him destroy his life.'

Hoseok, breaking his silence, spoke with conviction, 'Rose, we all want Jisoo to be safe, and Jungkook is doing what he thinks is right. We have to trust him on this.'

Yoongi added, 'He's right. We can't let personal feelings get in the way of Jisoo's safety. If Jungkook believes this is the best way, we should support him.'

Rose, frustrated, retorted, 'You're all acting like this is normal. I can't believe Jungkook is making such a drastic decision. It's messed up!'

Jungkook, maintaining his composure, responded, 'Rose, you don't understand. This is the only way to ensure Jisoo's safety.'

Jimin, who was silent suddenly said, 'Whoa!! Jungkook, man, talking about the devil, isn't that your little fiancé! Kim Y/N.' Hearing her name, Jungkook immediately turned around to look at her, staring deeply. Listening to Y/N's name, Rose also came to look at the girl who was sitting at the bar, talking to a guy. And Lisa also came forward and asked, 'Guys, tell me where is that girl. I never met her.' Listening to this, Jimin said, "The girl who is standing near the bar wearing a brown dress."

'Whoa! She is pretty, no wonder Rose had a crush on her. Wait.' Lisa turned to Jungkook and said, "That guy is trouble."

Lisa, frustrated, retorted, 'Who let him in? I have banned him from entering my club. What is he doing here?'

Jungkook, deeply staring at Y/N, asked, 'What do you mean he's trouble?'

Lisa, with a serious expression, responded, 'He harassed a staff member a month ago, and I reported him to the police. Well, he's rich, of course, they just let him go.'

Rose, sensing trouble, interjected, 'Guys, I think he is following her.'

After hearing this, Jungkook didn't wait for anything; he immediately headed in the direction where Y/N had gone.

As he neared, his heart raced, and his blood boiled when he witnessed the same guy attempting to touch her inappropriately. Without a second thought, Jungkook lunged forward, delivering a powerful punch to the guy. His voice carried a mix of anger and protectiveness as he declared, "I hate people touching what's mine." The atmosphere tensed with the confrontation, and Jungkook's eyes bore a mixture of fury and concern for Y/N.

Upon witnessing the altercation, Rose, Jimin, Lisa, Hoseok, and Yoongi rushed to the scene. The atmosphere in the restroom became tense as emotions flared. Rose, deeply concerned, said, "Y/N, are you okay?"

Lisa, who had banned the troublemaker from the club, exclaimed in disbelief, "I can't believe he had the audacity to come back. I'm calling security."

Meanwhile, the other three guys just stood there, looking confused at their maknae, Jungkook. The situation had escalated unexpectedly, and they were unsure how to react.

Seeing everything, Y/N scoffed at Jungkook, her voice dripping with disdain, and said, "Are we playing some drama where you're the so-called hero, and I'm forced into the role of a helpless heroine who apparently needs your 'protection'? How typical, Jeon Jungkook, always playing the savior while causing more harm than good." Her eyes bore into him, holding a mixture of hate and disgust, emotions so palpable that they seemed to hang in the air. Jungkook, in return, met her gaze with a stare that carried an enigmatic intensity, leaving everyone, including himself, wondering about the complexity of his emotions.
