"How dare she had the audacity to come in here. Is she not mourning for her best friend?" I heard Audrey commented. Her piercing eyes studying my whole body and her upper lip twitched when she caught me staring at her.
She's with a flock of girls with the same color as her.
She's standing while resting her back on the pillar of the wall at the corner of the hallway, 5 meters away from my position. And her arms wrapped around the books closer to her chest. There is at least four ladies by her side commenting something bad about me.
I can clearly hear their voices because I am nearing their place where the stairs is also at. I am a hundred percent sure that I am their subject of the day. Knowing Audrey at the cafeteria on the other day, she will undoubtly talk behind my back.
But I am not expecting to see these flocks of women mocking someone who are clearly on their way. I forced and dragged myself to be here and it is only 7:00 in the morning, I do not want them to ruin my morning. I did not have my breakfast as well because I did not have the apetite. I am not sure either if I did get enough sleep last night because all I can remember is that I cried my heart out.
"What a psycho!" I heard an unfamiliar girl commented.
I don't want to get angry right now so I must contain myself.
"I heard she hang out with Neo after her death," another girl whispered.
"Really?-" Their curiosity halted.
I stopped on my tracks as I gradually move my head to see the girl who commented about it. My jaw's tightly shut as I observed their faces. Audrey's attention is fixed on the ground. It is only very early in the morning but she already got a full face make up. Their perfume is getting on my nerves.
My eyes then settled on the girl at Audrey's right when our eyes met. She proudly stood up and hold my gaze for five seconds before looking away. I only gave her my coldest stare and did not break free from staring and also did not even say a thing.
Her siren eyes somewhat reminded me of Grace and I just found myself climbing up the stairs and shook it off.
I was proud of myself how I did not argue with those ladies and just minded my own business. Gladly, Audrey did not argue more or else I would find myself on the ground scratching her face until she will left with wounds and blood all over her pretty bitch face.
As soon as I stepped inside the room, their heads turned into my direction. I tried to avoid their gazes and fix my attention straight but there are some of my batchmates came rushing.
"Sure thing. I'll send you the location after class." I forced a smile but it didn't reach my eyes.
They giggled in the same manner, while the girl on my left patted my shoulder as if it eased the pain in my heart. "Grace is also our friend don't worry, mag-i-invite rin kami ng maraming friends!"
