THIRD PERSON'S POV

"Don't you remember the suspicious guy I told you before?" Ace was still in daze when he asked Raxy the question. Hinintay niya ang kaibigan sa magiging sagot nito pero nanginginig na siya sa takot dahil sa pumasok na ideya sa isip niya ngayon. 

Ramdam niya ang paglakas ng tibok ng puso niya at pagtuyo ng kaniyang mga labi. Hindi iyon mawala sa kaniyang memorya dahil napakamalas niya ng araw na iyon. Hindi siya nakaabot sa first subject niya at na-zero pa siya sa Chem dahil hindi siya nakapag-study sa surprise quiz ng guro nila.

Pero bumalik na naman sa kaniya ang ideya na kung saan baka masamang tao si Neo. 

Tumango ng ilang beses si Raxy nang maintindihan nito ang ibig-sabihin ng kaibigan. "Ah! Oo yung kapitbahay mong pogi? Nakapunta ako sa unit mo 'di ba tapos nakita natin siyang may kasabay na babae sa unit niya?" 

"Girlfriend niya kaya iyon? Bakit ano bang meron sa kaniya? Don't tell me type mo siya?" sunod-sunod na tanong ni Raxy na medyo napataas pa ang boses niya sa huling sinabi. 

Hindi ito pinansin ni Ace bagkus ay umiling-iling siya at nag-ikot ng paningin para siguraduhin kung may nakikinig ba sa usapan nila. Ganoon din ang ginawa ng isa at napatawa pa ng kaunti si Raxy dahil nakyu-kyutan siya kay Ace.

"I have to tell Rhys about it because she should watch out for her boyfriend," panimula ni Ace na medyo hininaan pa ang boses para siguraduhing silang dalawa lamang ang makakarinig sa sasabihin niya. 

Raxy on the other hand is all ears. He is always up with everything regarding Ace. He supports his best friend in any way that he could. His attention also diverted to their problem at hand rather than to the victim whose killer has been caught.

He turned of his phone and faced Ace. 

It is also evident to Ace's actions that he is anxious to think of approaching or in other words meddling with other people's business. He doesn't want to cause troubles that's why he is staying away from his parents and to pursue his studies. But as he finds himself caring for the people that he likes, he cannot back out anymore. He just wanted to help them.

Ace bit his lower lip and leaned on Raxy to match their gaze. "I am not sure if he is really a bad guy but I don't want to hurt Rhys too," Ace said in a lower tone.

Something hits Raxy's chest that he could not comprehend what it is. He blinked and forced a smile to Ace, to his best friend. He just smiled right there to ease the feeling he should not felt. He knows when it all began and he knows his friend more than he knows himself.

"Who is this Neo guy again?" Raxy is busy staring at Ace's face while the other is busy explaining how did he met Neo. He imagined smacking himself because it is already too late to move on with his unrequited love with his best friend.

"I met him at first when I was about to run out of time with my class. He gave me a ride and we talked certain things about his girl friend and my studies. Hindi ko rin nasabi sa kaniya yung pangalan ko kasi nagmamadali na rin ako at nakakausap ko rin yung girlfriend niya dahil nagkikita kami paminsan-minsan sa elevator," pagku-kwento ni Ace.

Tumango-tango si Raxy na may ngiti sa labi. "Maganda ba yung babae? I think you have mentioned her on some of our convos?" tanong ng binata.

Napatango-tango rin si Ace dahil naalala pala ng kaibigan niya ang nasabi niya noon na kung saan nag-share siya na maganda raw yung babaeng nakakausap niya sa elevator. 

"Hindi ako nag-mention ng name noon dahil baka ma-intriga ka." Sinundan ito ng tawa ni Ace. 

Inabot naman ni Raxy ang ulo ng isa at ginulo-gulo ito. "Never I am going to do that. I only have an eye on my person."
