I was wearing a long white dress, the tail as long as a regular human. My hair was up in a beautiful up-do; my makeup was also done perfectly. I walked out of the pack house and into the woods so I could calm my nerves. I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't realize I was so deep in the woods. I figured I should turn around and head back, so that's what I did. I twig snapped behind me and I stopped abruptly, whipping my head towards the sound. Nothing. I intertwined my fingers together to calm my shaking hands. I should really get back home. I took off in a jog, dodging trees and side-stepping bushes. There was running behind me. Someone was chasing me. I screamed as I tumbled to the ground scraping my bare arms. The running stopped and the person bent over beside me. I looked up to plead the person, but stopped, my breath hitching in my throat. Zach. He found me, "Got you." He whispered as he put his arms around me throwing me over his shoulder fiercely.
I shot up straight in the bed. My throat hurting from screaming, my face felt wet. I reached up to my cheeks, retracting my hand. I was crying.
The room was strangely very dark. The window leading outside displayed no stars or moon. I caught a glimpse of something in the corner. A swift movement, but I must be imagining it. Zach wouldn't have the guts to sneak into the bedroom of the Alpha of the WolfsBane pack, but fear still ran through me. I don't want him finding me.
Before I realized what I was doing I screamed for the only person I wanted, "Alpha Devon! Devon!"
I heard running down the hall and the door abruptly opened, the light switch being switched on. Light flooded the room and in the door way Alpha Devon stood; a frantic look on his face. He rushed to his bedside and grabbed my shaking hands, "What happened? Cara?"
I looked up at him another tear escaping from my eye, "I dreamt Zach found m-me. A-and I thought I saw something in the corner of the room," I spoke quietly tumbling over my own words, "I'm sorry I disturbed your sleeping. I-I was scared, you were the only one I thought of."
His eyes softened, "It's alright, Cara. I'm here, no one can hurt you."
He sounded so reassuring, I grabbed out for him wrapping my arms around his torso. He instantly hugged me back, rubbing circles on my mid-back. He pulled back first and walked back towards the door. Disappointment ran through me, so I'm not special. I laid back in bed and started to cry again, not because of Zach but because of rejection. I heard the door shut and the lights flick off.
Suddenly I felt the bed dip beside me and Alpha Devon hovered over me, wiping my tears.
"You didn't leave?" I sobbed out.
"I would never." He replied bending over he kissed my forehead.
He lay back down and intertwined our fingers. I guess he wanted to give me space but I didn't want that. I scooted across the bed and cuddled against his chest not caring that I just met him or if he would push me away. Thankfully he didn't, instead he wrapped his arms around me and relaxed. Seconds later I heard soft snores above me and smiled, soon falling into my own peaceful sleep.

I peeked open my eyes, instantly regretting it as the sun burned. I covered my eyes and turned on my side. Taking my hands off my face I gasped, bringing my fingers to my mouth. I thought last night was just another dream.
But here he was, lying right next to me. His eyebrows furrowing as he breathed in and out, a snore escaping his lips every once in a while. Up close you could see light brown freckles scattered across his nose, they were barley visible because of his tanned skin. He was absolutely breath taking even when he was sleeping.
His hair looked inviting too, the type of hair you just wanna run your fingers through. So, I did. I released my other hand from under his arm and ran my fingers through his hair, lightly tugging. I was desperate to see his blue eyes. I thought he'd open them, but instead he tightened his grip on my waist and dug his head down into his pillow.
