The sun was slowly starting to set as me and the Cap walked back to the cafeteria. It was silent, but it wasn't uncomfortable. "So, who is she, Sir?" He looked down at me, a slight gleam of sweat trickling down his forehead, I caught it before it hit the ground.

"Me and her trained together but got separated after our squad died. Her boyfriend was found dead, and thats when she transferred to the interior
to work for the king. I understand it, but thats why I try to avoid getting too attached anymore."

He sure opened up. It surprised me. And it made me wonder what the hell goes on inside of his beautiful mind. "I'm sure you must be glad she's back, right? I mean, if she's back." I regretted what I said, because I didn't know if she was back or not.

"I guess, her transfer will be complete in the next few days, and she requested to sleep in the vacant room beside me. For familiarity, I guess. Anyway, how have you been, Brat?"

I hate that stupid nickname. Me and the Cap have definitely gotten a bit closer than he usually does with his other Cadets, but I think it's pity for what happened a month ago. I keep telling him that it isn't his fault and he needs to let it go.

He doesn't realize that my problems are mine, not his. And he doesn't need to dwell on my issues. Me and him always have tea after dark, I haven't slept well for a long time, and now I have someone to kill time with. We always just talk about our days, and I talk about all of the drama with my friends.

Sometimes we even just sit in silence while I read and he scribbles. It's my favourite part of my day. Though I will never admit it. "I'm fine, Sir, don't worry. How many times do I have to tell you that?" I playfully hit his arm, and to that I get a rare smile.

"Yea yea. But you do know that you can ask for help. Right?" We were sitting now, it wasn't often that we sat together in the cafeteria around all the other people, but we were lost in conversation, so only I had noticed.

"Course, but I'm chill." I leaned back in my chair, bringing my arms up behind my head. "Need me to get us food?" I asked, because it was dinner time. "I'm not hungry, if you are, get some. But if not, I can just sneak us some later." I nodded, I'm not hungry often, and it doesn't bother me so we just decided to leave food out for now. Sasha would thank me later.

Hange Pov:
"Erwin. I'm telling you. Look at them! They are chatting up a storm. Again. For the THIRD TIME TODAY!!! Like, he is in love." I was screaming about it to Erwin again because he was the only one that would listen to me about my fantasies about Levi and Ace. It is not as weird as it sounds. I promise.

Me and Erwin just was Levi to be happy again, and smile once in a while. It never happens anymore, around us anyway. But it always happens around her. And thats all me and Erwin want.

"Yea yea, keep telling yourself that, Hange. You are going to get your heart broken because of someone else's love story. Besides, it isn't our business." I laughed. "Blah blah blah, I know im right and I know they will date. I am counting on it."

Erwin smiled at me, a light shining behind his eyes.

Ace's Pov:
"Well, Sir, it's getting late, I should head out." I stood up and grabbed our cups, ready to leave. "See you in the morning, Cadet. Sleep well." I smiled back at him and left the room.

The building was quiet, except for the reckless teens not trying to hide breaking the rules at all. I pity the people sleeping next to them.

I took the teacups down stairs and washed them before going back upstairs and to my room where I will be trying my hardest to go to sleep.

The room was dark, no one had been in at all day, not even the cleaning crew. It was weird, but I brushed it off, maybe they didn't go around today. I took my clothes off and threw on a hoodie and red checkered pj pants and slid under the covers.

They were cold compared to the warmth in the Captain's office. The fire in there was heating up the room nicely, and the tea was warming my insides. I missed it, but I won't dwell on it much because I will be back tomorrow.

Before I knew it my eyelids were getting heavy, and my body was starting to shut down. Sleep had taken me away.

"LEVIII!!! HANGE!!! ERWIN! ANYONE, help, please." No one answered my calls or cries. They all just stared as my clothes got ripped off of me.

Everyone just watched me. They didn't help, they didn't care to help. The pain was immeasurable, unbearable. I couldnt tell what was worse, being ripped apart from the inside out or having everyone watch it happen.

The world began to fade, and I one again fell into the darkness.

"Everyone up! There has been a breach in the wall! All hand on deck!" The yells in the hall did not make my head stop banging. It was like my brain was too big for my skull, ripping through the bone to get free.

I was drenched in sweat, and half of my covers were on the floor. My face felt sticky and the gunk in my eyes was starting to hurt.

My door burst open to an angry looking Cap. "Get the fuck up, Cadet. There was a breach in the wall, we have to move." Information I already had, but because it was being shoved down my throat, I figured I should get up.

"Yea on it, Sir."
