Chapter 4: Heart of the Matter, Part 1

In the Speed Lab

Barry standing there confused.

God asks "What's wrong?"

Barry says "I'm sorry, you made three?"

God nods and says "Yes, I did."

Bart chuckles and says "That's cool. Dad is gettin' hella bitches."

Barry looks at Bart and says "I am sorry, he's getting good-looking women."

Barry looks at Remiel and she says "Would you like to spar, Beloved?"

Barry says "S-sure."

She tossed a spear and he caught it.

Barry asks "What's this for?"

She then had another spear and swung it at him.

He blocked the attack and said, "What are you doing?"

Remiel says "We're sparring."

Barry asks "With real weapons?"

Remiel nods.

She then went in and started to swing her spear.

Barry continued to block.

Bart asks "Do you think Dad's okay?"

Nora says "Let's just let him fight with Mama."

Bart nods.

Barry continued to block her attacks, then ducked down, dodged an attack, and did a spin kick knocking her down.

He then held the spear next to her neck and said, "If you're thinking Earth has made me weak... You're wrong, Remiel."

Remiel says "I didn't say that. I just wanted to see if you can take care of yourself, beloved."

Barry asks "Can I ask why you call me Beloved?" as he moves the spear.

Barry helps her up and she says "It's cause I'm destined to be with you. Your grandfather has said it."

Barry says "Okay."

God walked over and said, "Nathaniel, we're here to help with this civil war."

Barry chuckles and says "God, wants to get in on a civil war? Why's that? Tired of dealing with your children in Los Angeles?"

God says "Ah, speaking of." he snapped his fingers, and a white light blinded them.

When the light disappeared they saw Lucifer.

Barry says "Dad?"

Lucifer sees Barry and says "Nathaniel?"

He walked over and hugged Barry.

Lucifer smiled and said, "It's good to see you, my little devil spawn."

Bart looked at Nora and said, "Wait... Our grandfather is the Devil?"

Nora says "Have you not paid attention to any of the stories Dad tells us?"

Bart says "No, 'cause I didn't think they were interesting."

Nora scoffs and says "Amateur."

Bart just looks at her and says "At least our other siblings don't treat me like that."

Nora says "How do I treat you?"

Bart says "Like I'm an idiot."

Nora says "What-- No, I don't."

Bart says "You just called me an amateur. Seriously."

Barry saw them fighting and looked away.

Lucifer saw Remiel and said, "Remi? What are you doing here?"
