At Chloe's Apartment
It's been over 3 weeks since Thawne had kidnapped, Trixie.
Barry and Chloe had taken that time to be parents together for Trixie.
Barry was in bed with Chloe who was cuddled in his side.
He smiled and kissed her cheek.
He then pulled her closer and kissed her forehead, then her nose.
Chloe started to stir, slowly opened her eyes, and said, "Hi, baby."
Barry smiles and says "Hi, honey."
Chloe asks "When are you going back to Central City?"
Barry said, "I don't know. Granddad still needs to announce that I'm his heir to the other angels."
Chloe nods and says "I can't believe you're gonna be God."
Barry sighs and says "At first... I didn't want to do it when he mentioned it."
Chloe asks "What changed your mind?"
Barry says "I... I made a deal."
Chloe looks at him and wipes her eyes.
She sits up and pulls him closer as he lays on her.
Chloe asks "What deal, baby?"
Barry sighs as he holds her arms that are wrapped around him.
Barry says "When I died... I asked Granddad to save you and Trixie since Thawne wanted to kill you. I then went to Heaven. Then, he came to me. He told me that He'll send me back as long as I agree to be the next God."
Chloe sighs and says "You didn't have to do that for us."
Barry nods and says "Yes, I did."
Barry grabbed her hand that was wrapped around him and he kissed her hand.
Barry says "I wasn't gonna let you die, Chloe."
Chloe asks "How could Thawne shoot you?"
Barry sighs and says "I don't fully understand why, but... I'm only vulnerable when I'm close to you."
Chloe kissed his cheek and held him even closer than before.
Chloe says "I wish time would slow down. I don't want to go to work today. I want to be with you."
Barry kisses her hands and says "I wish that too. But sometimes... life gets in the way."
Then a knock on the door and a voice says "Mom? Daddy? I'm gonna miss the bus."
Barry says "Oh, shoot. Okay, Detective. I'll take the little Sugarplum fairy to school. You go, I'm sure they have a case for you at the precinct."
Chloe gets up and says "Okay."
They both quickly got dressed and Barry went downstairs.
Trixie says "Come on, I miss the bus."
Barry says "Hold on, sweetheart. Mommy and Daddy are hurrying as fast as they can."
Trixie groans and sits down.
Barry saw that and asked, "What's wrong? Why are you doing that?"
Trixie says "I'm sorry, I woke up late."
Barry bends down and says "Hey, it's okay, honey. Were you not able to sleep?"
Trixie shakes her head.
Barry asks "Why not? What's wrong, baby?" as he puts a hand on her leg and rubs her leg.
Trixie says "That bad man, that kidnapped me. I keep having nightmares of him."
