Chapter 12: Take Me To Hell

At Lux

Barry saw the cops moving in closer to him.

Barry says "Come on, Detective. You can't seriously believe I killed that man."

Chloe says "It doesn't matter what I believe." as she aims her gun at her boyfriend.

Barry says "That's all the matters, Detective." and he puts his hands down.

Chloe says "Put your hands in the air and surrender yourself."

Barry walks to the bar stool he is sitting in and chuckles at this.

Chloe says "This isn't funny, Barry."

Barry asks "Isn't it?"

Barry laughs and says "I think this is the grandest joke that I've heard in all my time. The best part is it's on me!"

Chloe lowers her gun puts her hand up and says "Come peacefully. We'll go to the station..."

Barry interrupts "No. We won't."

Chloe aims her gun back at Barry sighs and says "What are you doing?"

Barry steps forward and says "I'm accepting my role in all of this. All of humanity's sins are the Devil's fault, right? His son must be evil too. I mean, I thought you knew differently, but I was wrong. You're just like all the others. So, why not add one more murder to the pile?"

Chloe says "That's not what this is, Barry."

Barry walks in the middle and says "Come on. What are you waiting for? You wanted your bad guy. Well, here he is, gift-wrapped just for you!"

Chloe says "Don't take another step."

Barry points at a cop and yells "You! Newbie. Come on. Riddle me with bullets, so you can go home drink an ice-cold beer, and feel better about yourselves!"

Chloe says worried "Don't shoot him. He's unarmed."

Barry says "Oh, you don't know that. Maybe I have a gun." as he puts his hand in his jacket.

The cop yells "Hands in the air!" as he cocks his gun.

Barry yells "Do it!"

Chloe yelled, "Don't!" and the cop fired.

Chloe started to pant and when she turned she saw Barry wasn't there.

She walks forward to the bar and an officer asks "What just happened?"

Chloe sighs and says "Search the area. He can't have gotten far."

With Barry

Barry was panting as he was flown to the roof.

Barry says "Can we not tell anyone you just carried me in your arms like a baby?"

Then a male voice says "What were you trying to accomplish in there?"

Barry turns and sees Dean.

Barry says "Uh, a good death? Or at least a nice messy one. But then you had to come and ruin everything, like always.

Dean says "Always?"

Barry groans and turns to Dean and asks "Why'd you swoop in and stop it? Wouldn't let someone send me to Hell, is that it? Well, guess what, cousin, you don't need to protect me, because I'm done here. I've had my fun on Earth, and..."

Barry sighs and says "...there's no reason for me to stay anymore. Lucifer wins. I'll go willingly. Please, just... take me to Hell."

Dean says "No. Are you out of your mind?"
