Chapter 6: Family Dinner

At the LAPD

The three angels stopped as they were stunned at seeing God.

The black man said hesitantly, "Father... You're here."

God walks forward and says "Well, you've got my attention."

Michael then says "Oh, Father, thank you for coming. You-- you saw how they were attacking me? And looking what Lucifer did to my face."

Lucifer says "Yes, of course, oh, this is all my fault. Go on, go ahead, Dad, blame it all on me, like always."

The black guy says "No, Father, this is all my fault. I lost control and froze time, and as the eldest brother, I should've kept a better handle on my siblings and nephew. I'm truly sorry."

God says "I don't care who's at fault. I just want my sons and grandson to get along."

Lucifer scoffs.

Barry says "Don't bring me in this."

They all look at him.

Barry says "I was sent here by you. Okay? I didn't know you were sending me into the middle of a fight."

God said, "That hasn't happened yet, Nathaniel. That's the future. By a couple of weeks."

Lucifer says "It's good to see you, son."

Barry says "Hey, Dad."

God says "Regardless of what's happened, we're family. Let's act like it."

Michael says "Good point, Father."

He sighs and goes to hug the black man.

Barry asks his dad "Is the black guy my Uncle Amenadiel?"

Lucifer nods and says "Yup."

Michael says "Come on. Bring it in."

Lucifer said, "Uh..."

Michael hugs Amenadiel and he says "Come on. Here."

Amenadiel tapped his back.

Michael then let go and went towards Lucifer and Barry.

Barry yells "You've got to be joking. No! Hell, no!"

Both Barry and Lucifer turn around.

God said, "Come now, Samael, Nathaniel."

Lucifer turns around and says "Michael impersonated me, tried to ruin my life. Kidnapped the woman that I--"

Lucifer huffs "He is behind every bad thing that's ever happened to me! Well, everything apart from you. And for someone who's supposed to be omniscient, it's amazing that you never actually see that! And apparently never will."

Lucifer scoffs and walks away.

Barry yells "Girls! Let's go!"

Remiel had jumped down with Alexa and the four of them left.

Later at Lux

Barry was at the bar and he was watching his Dad play the piano.

Everyone was cheering for him as Lucifer was screaming.

Barry then noticed the girl on the staircase and he walked over.

Barry says "Hello. I'm Barry."

She says "Hi, but I'm spoken for."

Barry says "You're with Lucifer, right?

She nods and says "Yeah. I'm Ella Lopez."

Barry says "Right. Miss Lopez. I've heard such great things about you from my Dad."
