Youra couldn't believe what happened just few minutes ago while she waited for the bus to come. She shook her head, wanting to get these awful memories out of her mind while she shivered from the wind that's gotten a lot stronger. When she looked around, the streets were oddly empty and dark, giving her goosebumps of another kind. Thankfully, the bus was finally coming her way, so she stood up, skipping on her feet.
And as she waited impatiently to get warm inside of it, suddenly a motorcycle overtook the bus with much higher speed. Naturally, Youra couldn't take her eyes off the person who suddenly, just like a scene from a movie, slowed down in front of her and turned her way. Another set of goosebumps ran all over her body as the person pierced his eyes through hers before shutting the face shield of his helmet and sped off into the distance.
She didn't have enough time to focus on the mysterious driver since the bus suddenly opened its doors in front of her. Startled, she eventually got in, enjoying the warmth before having to get out to the cold and walk home. What she wasn't too excited about, though, was that once she got back home, she'd have to get ready for a party.
She wasn't much of a party goer or enjoyer whatsoever, but since it was one to welcome the first year students, she decided to join her major's colleagues. The fact that Renjun was going with her also made her feel a bit better, although he too didn't like those type of gatherings.
Since the party was taking place at a club which was rented every single year for the "welcome first year" party, Youra decided to wear something rather casual yet cute. She picked a pair of wide leg jeans, a white crop top which would match her white nikes perfectly and topped the whole outfit with an oversized and unzipped, black cardigan with white patterns all over it. Her hair was up in a bun while two strands hang over her face in front.
"Wow, I thought you didn't care about the party." Renjun teased as soon as the girl left her room.
"Wait, it's too much?" she looked down, doubting her choice.
A chuckle escaped the boy's lips and he patted her shoulder. "I'm just messing with you. You look good."
Youra smiled, enjoying the compliment. "Thanks. Are you ready?" she scanned him up and down while he hummed in response. She loved his rather emo style and how he never tried to fit in, so another striped sweater paired with black jeans simply screamed Renjun.
The loud music was blasting from inside the club, making Youra mentally prepare for how much louder it was going to be inside. Her and Renjun shared a look before stepping in with their ears ringing immediately.
The whole club was packed with students from their university. Some danced like crazy, some were already making out and others were either laughing with their friends or waiting in line to get their drinks. Youra looked around carefully, trying to find any of her major colleagues, but to no luck at first. Only after her and Renjun got a beer each and roamed around the place again, she finally managed to find few people she recognized. They invited her and her roommate without a problem and the whole group enjoyed each other's company.
After about an hour, Youra started to feel a bit nauseous due to the stuffed air and amount of alcohol she already consumed. She wasn't drunk, but she definitely wasn't completely sober either. Once she told everyone she was going to get some fresh air, she made her way out of the club.
The breeze that suddenly hit her face immediately made her feel a little better. She looked around and the amount of smoke that roamed around the place was definitely not going to give her the desired fresh air, but it was still much better than inside. As she moved a little further away from the smoking crowd in front, she got startled by a person leaning back against the wall, further in the back. Just as she was about to say sorry for invading their isolated spot, she recognized who it was.
She sighed and turned on her heel, ready to leave, when Jeno suddenly blurred out. "You can stay. I don't bite."
Youra turned back to the boy. "You're smoking too, I was hoping for a bit of a fresh air."
He chuckled, taking another drag of his cigarette. With the addictive thing in between his lips, he walked towards her and nudged his chin to the people in front. "I guess it's much better with one smoker here than all of them at once there."
She turned to look again and the huge smoke above the people's heads made her want to gag. While she focused on them and tried to pick the best of both worlds, she eventually turned back again, getting startled as Jeno stood right behind her this whole time. When she bumped into him, he only smirked and stared at her without a word. Youra gulped and cleared her throat, backing away and hiding in the isolated spot Jeno found before her.
She shivered from cold as the wind blew hard and she sadly didn't bring a jacket. Whenever Jeno wasn't looking her way, she scanned him up and down, and suddenly, the leather jacket on his body made her jealous as she craved the warmth it'd probably give her.
A chuckle escaped Jeno's lips once he caught the girl staring. A little embarrassed, she cleared her throat and looked away which only gave the boy another reason to tease her.
He walked closer, throwing the cigarette butt onto the ground. Taking the opportunity he didn't have before, he scanned the girl up and down carefully, analyzing every inch of her. Upon feeling his stare, she finally turned his way too and furrowed her brows. "Take a picture, it'll last longer." she blurred out.
Jeno laughed, shaking his head. "You're more confident than you look."
"And what is that supposed to mean?"
"So fiesty too with this gentle face of yours."
Youra stared as Jeno walked closer step by step. She straightened up and her back pressed against the building's wall while The Wolf Pack's leader stood in front of her at that point. "I'm actually glad I found you here- or, that you found me." he sighed, running fingers through his hair. "I didn't like the way you talked to my friends back there today."
Youra scoffed, smiling. "You honestly seemed to find it pretty funny."
Jeno's hand suddenly slapped against the wall behind Youra's back, startling her to the max. While he leaned on it, he stared at the girl with cold eyes as she looked at him in pure shock. "Don't get involved in our business from now on, got it? I might not be able to stand back next time."
Youra nodded and gulped, unable to take her eyes off the boy in front of her. When he finally pushed himself off the wall and walked away while clenching his teeth, the girl stood there all alone and frozen - and this time not because of the cold.
