27: Glued.

Youra frowned, looking at the boy who froze in spot as soon as he saw her enter the apartment. She pouted, seeing his blank face, afraid of how mad he had to be at her for leaving without a word. "Hi." she gulped "listen, I'm so sorry-"

Suddenly, all her worries disappeared when Renjun ran to wrap his arms around his roommate whom he missed so much. Youra let a small smile appear on her face as they held each other tight. "Don't ever disappear like that again or I'll change the locks and you'll be homeless, got it?!"

She chuckled, nodding.

"Hey, hey, she's my girlfriend, get your hands off."

Renjun's eyes widened upon seeing Jeno come in as well, but more so when the words came out of his mouth. The boy pulled away from Youra, staring at her in shock while she smiled shyly. "What did he just say? Are you two finally together?"

When Youra nodded, Renjun hugged her once again, only tighter that time and even picked her up from the ground. "Finally! I'm so happy for you guys, holy shit!"

"Hey, what about me? I don't get to get a hug? I'm a part of that relationship too, you know?"

Renjun rushed towards Jeno who acted sulky, squeezing him tight as well and the boy enjoyed it more than he thought he would. During so many years of friendship between him and Youngseo, the two never really hugged, or at least not this genuinely. Everything with Youra and Renjun seemed so much different from when he used to hang out with Siwon and Youngseo. Getting to know those two people who now stood in front of him finally made him feel like he could be himself a hundred percent, with no need for pretending to still be the cold and scary guy who didn't care about anything or anyone that he used to be as a teenager. He was finally realizing that real friendships meant you could be yourself without being judged or forced into anything, and that made him so happy.

"We have to celebrate!" Renjun clapped his hands together, rushing to the kitchen right away. "I kept this for when you came back, but damn, I didn't think there'd be more things to celebrate other than you simply coming back."

The couple watched the boy run around the kitchen like a maniac, with amusement on their faces. Their fingers intertwined naturally as soon as they stood side by side, enjoying the little show Renjun decided to put out for them. And then, the celebration began, until a very late night.

Knowing that both Youra and Jeno loved Keshi, Renjun played his songs on repeat, becoming a fan himself. The couple couldn't believe how genuinely happy their friend was for them and Jeno was really touched by it, but, of course, he wasn't going to let it show. Maybe he did change and wasn't as afraid to be a hundred percent himself, but getting emotional in front of others was still a complicated subject for him.

After the three drank the delicious whiskey until the last drop, the drunkest of all - the party's inventor - went to bed first, or more so made Jeno put him to bed.

"Ok, baby, I should get going. I'm so beat."

Youra wrapped her arms around the boy's neck, glueing their bodies together. "I know, plus you didn't sleep at all last night because you were transforming the camper for me. My cutie." she pecked him, giggling.

"You're so drunk." he chuckled, loving her blushed cheeks and cute tone of voice that always came out whenever she drank a little too much.

"You can stay here."

Jeno hummed, glancing at the couch. "Should I?"

Youra nodded. "Stay with me."

The boy chuckled, placing a soft kiss onto his girlfriend's lips. "Ok, do you have a blanket or something?"

"What for?"

"Well-"

"I want you to sleep with me, silly."

His drunken eyes widened a little and a soft chuckle escaped his reddened lips. "Are- are you sure?"

With a simple nod, she kissed him once again before grabbing his hand and pulling him behind her. Once the two got to her room, she locked the door immediately, making Jeno feel some type of way. As he gulped, he looked around her room that he never got to examine closer, and by the time he made a whole circle, he noticed Youra was already in bed. "You're fast."

"I'm just so tired. Come," she tapped the empty space next to her.

Normally, Jeno didn't feel this nervous around girls, but simply imagining just lying next to Youra and cuddling made his stomach fill with butterflies. As he walked over to the other side, he gulped sitting down on the bed. The girl's eyes were glued to his back that suddenly exposed his bare skin since he took his shirt off. Their eyes met for a split second as the boy lied down next to her, getting himself comfortable. They turned on their sides, looking at each other for a while in silence as their drunk and tired eyes began to close on their own.

Youra placed a gentle kiss on the boy's lips, saying good night right after as she turned her back to him. When he felt her hand pull his arm over her waist, he moved himself closer to embrace her better. As they now laid body to body, cuddling, Jeno smiled to himself. He loved the way she squeezed onto his hand as if she was afraid he'd run away otherwise.

Jeno enjoyed this special moment between them so much that he wanted to remember every single detail possible. His lips kept being curled up while he hugged her tight, breathing in her perfume that suddenly became his favorite smell in the world. The love he had for Youra was something he couldn't even understand himself, but experiencing it was the best thing that's ever happened to him.
