Chapter one
In a small town of Pennsylvania, on top of a incline hill of 70 degrees, a small house that consisted of a large family lived a young woman who wanted nothing more than to leave her home, and the abusive people she lived with. She found herself mainly closed up in the small space that was called her 'room' which only fitted her dresser, bed and side table. She had no door per-say, she had a curtain that was her door, which didn't work well when it came to keeping her siblings away from her. She usually had to block them out with her black and pink head phones, which annoyed them. The name of this female was Serena, she is the middle child of Seven children, she has brown hair that slightly goes past her shoulders as well as glasses that go over her brown eyes. She is known as the 'troubled' child to her parents and siblings as well as being called a 'drama queen'. Which neither was true, she was just very misunderstood.
She couldn't ever find anyone to understand her, none of her 'friends' could grasp that she was lonely and just wanted to be loved be it in a friendly way or not. I was something that was uncommon with her, it was like her whole life was filled with hate and depression, when in reality, she just had bad luck..a lot of it. But that changed a night when she was calming down from her elder brother terrorizing her for the seventh time that day, he had a night off from work and was using his free time to give her hell. He already gave her two scars on her arms and legs plus a scratch on her face. She usually watched Hetalia to cheer her up. But as she went to turn her laptop on she saw a familiar blond male banging on it. She fell off of her bed from shock.
"Hey, let me out!" The Englishman said banging on her screen
She got up from the ground as she hid herself by the edge of her bed and frowned. "I'm imagining it...N-No way is he there." She said softly as she muttered to herself
"Please Love, let me out, I know you can hear me!" He yelled getting annoyed
Serena had no idea what to do in her situation, she wanted to try to solve this on her own like an adult-but her social anxiety was keeping her from thinking properly. She was paralyzed to be where she was at the side of her twin size bed looking at her computer screen, seeing the British male fuming irate.
"Are you listening to me Serena! Let me out of here please!" He yelled angered
She froze, how did he know her name?! She shook it off rather quickly, she knew he must have found a way to go through her computer and find out who he had to ask to get him out. It was one thing for her to meet the guy one on one, but it was another to see the blond haired male on her computer screen actually talking to her. After taking a deep breath she turned her screen so she could see him, to see that he was just as annoyed as he would be if he was talking to Francis or America.
"Y-You...You can hear me A-Arthur?" She asked timidly
He sighed and face palmed himself. "Yes, I can."
"Before I let you out, I want to know...How do you know my name?"She asked, she had to be sure what she thought beforehand was true. It couldn't have been just coincidence that he knew who she was.
He gave her a small smile before he found a way to get her college English class report on the cultural difference between Britain and America. "This is how, Even though you had your computer off, I was able to see just who I had to as to let me out of here." He explained
She felt rather confused, she had to figure out the bases of what was going on with her before she even thought about letting the British male out of her laptop. "How did you get stuck in my laptop?"
"Like I bloody know?! One moment I'm sleeping and the next I'm in this damn contraption!"
Serena instantly sank down the side of her bed, hating how people would yell at her for things that wasn't her fault. Arthur saw this and sighed out stressed out. He never meant to scare or upset the young girl-he just wanted out then to go back home where he belonged.
"I apologize Serena, I shouldn't have been rude to you. Please let me out of here and we can talk more."
"No." She said shaking her head sadly
"What?! Why not?"
"Because, mean people never get what they want." She stated as she grabbed her mouse quickly, before she tried to delete him from her laptop.
Sure, she liked the guy but he was being rude to her-that wasn't how a gentleman was supposed to act like. He didn't go away, so she dragged the British male to her recycle bin at the corner of her screen and tried to place him there only for it to reject him.
"Will you stop?!" He asked rather peeved at being dragged by the young girl
She ignore him and continued to try to get him off of her screen but it didn't work. So she ignored him as she tried to find comfort in her 'friends' online. She frowned when none of them were on, so she turned her laptop off only for her laptop to reject turning off. She hit her head hard on the wall and Arthur saw this as well.
"What are you doing, you're going to harm yourself if you keep that up." He said looking to her confused
She ignored him and placed her laptop on her side table before she was 'greeted' by her two youngest siblings, Renne and Anya
"Hey, you are taking us to school tomorrow, don't forget to sleep like a normal person." Renne said rudely
"Oh and bro wants you downstairs right now." Anya said in a demanding tone
"Fuck off both of you, and Lucas can go sod off somewhere else too." Serena said with her arms crossed as she glared at her sisters
"You know you aren't supposed to curse at us!" Renne said before hitting her with her trumpet case rather hard on the side of her
That really got Serena irate as she kicked both of her siblings out of her room before yelling at them to leave her alone. She then went face first into her bed only to hear her brother coming up the steps.
"Serena get your ass over here right now!"
She whined out but didn't move. She soon felt herself being pulled up off of her bed and smacked on the face rather hard before being shoved back first into her dresser as one of the handles went straight into her spine. She didn't show how much it affected her as her brother yelled at her for cursing, while curing at her as well as punching her in the stomach. Once her brother left she stayed on the ground as she looked down before she began to tear up then softly cry at the pain that she felt from her brother, who she was mostly afraid of.
"Love...Why do you let your siblings hurt you?" Arthur said sadly
She didn't answer him, she just placed her head into the carpeted floor as she cried holding her stomach, due to the amount of pain that she was in from how rough her elder brother was to her.
