After history class, I had walked to every class with Stefan, and he was somewhat protecting me, and he was making it seem like we were boyfriend and girlfriend even though we weren't. I mean, I don't think I'd want to be boyfriend and girlfriend with him just yet. I don't know him that well. But, I did have lunch with Rebekah, and she wanted me to come over her house to finish the new biology project we were given from Mr. Atkins, our bio teacher. So, I couldn't wait to do it because I love biology. What can I say? I'm a complete nerd when it comes to bio and history. After last period ended, I met Rebekah at her locker, and I walked out of school with her, and we went to her car. It was a silver mustang with a black leather top to it, and she drove off to her house.

Eventually, we reached a red mansion, and it was the hugest house I've ever laid my eyes on. "We're here!" She exclaimed. All I could do was stare. She saw me staring at her house, and said, "What's the matter? You make it seem like you've never seen a house before." She said.

"No it's just, a. It's beautiful, b. It's huge, and c. I can't believe you live here." I said in shock.

"Well, my family was always classy, and we still are to this day." She said smiling, "Come on. Let's go!" We walked into the front door, and I looked at the decor of the house. Her house was beautiful. The wallpaper had red lining on it, and there was dark brown flooring, with a black classical piano. There was also a big glass table with couches surrounding it with a TV hovering over it. I followed Rebekah into her kitchen. "Scar, do you want a snack before we get to work?" She asked me as I sat down on a stool in the kitchen.

"Um, no thanks. I'm good." I said.

"Ok. Then we can get started." She said as she sat down next to me, opening her notebook. We talked about how we wanted to plan out the project, when her eyes suddenly bolted up to the archway that led into the kitchen. "Kol, why don't you just go upstairs and leave us alone? We're trying to do a project for science." She said. She has a brother? I didn't think she did; she would have mentioned him.

"Well Bekah, I don't think that I should leave you both alone since you haven't even shared this lovely girl with me. I only came down here because I was hungry. I knew I smelled the food from in here." He said.

"Kol, that is enough. You don't want me to call Niklaus down to get you out of the house, do you?" She said, like it was a threat. That must be her dad.

"No, actually I don't. I'm just gonna grab an apple and I'll be right out." He replied. Kol was hot; I'm sorry I had to say that. He had messy brown hair that he didn't care what it looked like, his face was so precious yet sophisticated, and his eyes were so golden that you got lost in them as you stared into them. After he got his apple, he left the room and I heard him walk back upstairs.

"I'm sorry about Kol." She apologized.

"Oh no, it's fine. You didn't tell me you had a brother." I said.

"I don't just have 1 brother. I have 4. I'm the only girl in the house. I live with them. Our parents died a while back. It's a long story from the history of our family." She said.

"Oh, well I'm assuming the other one you mentioned is your other brother?" I asked.

"Yes. My brothers names are Kol, Niklaus, Elijah and Finn. But, Finn moved to New Orleans and he died over there. That was about 3 years ago. Now, we keep his body in his coffin in the dungeon downstairs." She said, making me shake at the sound of it. But I wasn't going to say or judge her because that's what her family believes in I guess.

After a couple of hours, we finished our project, and as were were cleaning up, I had gotten the feeling like I needed to use the bathroom. "Bekah, can I use your bathroom?" I asked.
