I went into the dressing room with Elena along with 5 different dresses. She was the only one who I wasn't mad at. She hasn't mentioned Hailey, or any original vampire, which made me feel so much better. I hung up all the dresses, and I picked up the one on top. it was a long burgundy colored dress with a gold lace top, and it was strapless. Burgundy dresses were my favorite. As Elena helped me into the dress she wanted to talk.

"Scar?" She has helping me get in the dress.

"Yeah? What's up?" I said.

"You know Care already sent out the invitations last week right?" She asked.

"Yeah." I said getting the dress up.

"That means you invited the Originals." She said.

"Yeah. It's ok. I can't hide from them forever." I said as she zipped up the dress and started tying up the back of the dress.

"True." She said, "It's tied up."

I stepped out of the dressing room and stepped in front of the big mirror. Care and Bonnie were stunned. "Oh my. Scarlet that looks beautiful on you!" Care said.

"I really love this one." I said, "I'm going to try on the other ones now." I walked back into the dressing room with Elena, and tried on the other dresses. they were all nice, but they didn't satisfy me at all. So, I just decided to buy the burgundy one. But, we didn't have enough money because when Caroline swiped her card, it was declined. We were short $50. A man slowly saw what was going on, and Rebekah looked at him like she knew him. He walked over to us.

"Here." He said giving me $50 from his wallet.

"No, you don't have to do that." I said handing back to him.

"No I insist. A beautiful girl like you needs their birthday dress. Take it. You need it more than me." He said.

"No, I'm serious. I can't take this." I said.

"Take it." He said pushing my hand away from him.

"Thank you, Marcel. That's enough. She's not yours. Move along." Rebekah said annoyed.

"Whatever, Bekah. Your just upset that we didn't finish what we had started." He replied.

"Shut it." She scoffed, then looking away.

"I'm Marcel. Call me." He said giving me a piece of paper, and it was a phone number. I put it in my pocket and smiled at him before he walked away and out of the store.

We payed for the dress and walked out of the store, and we went home. I hung up the dress and Bekah wanted to talk to me.

"Scarlet?" She asked looking for me in my room.

"Yes?" I said.

"Can we talk?" She asked.

"Sure." I replied, "What's up?" I said.

"A couple of things. Um, Elijah's devastated that you left him."

"I did the right thing."

"No you didn't. He loves you."

"If he loved me, he would have saved me from Klaus. but did he? No. I think I made the right decision. He likes Hailey anyway. What's the point."

"He's going to try to win you back at your party on Friday. Hope you know that." She said.

"Whatever. Next topic." I said.

"Marcel from the store."

"Yeah, what about him?"
