Chapter 5: Preparations

I got home at about 10am. As soon as I walked into the door, Elena attacked me with questions.

"What's in the envelope? Where'd you get those books? And more importantly where we're you this morning?" She asked very curious.

"I was picking up a drawing from Klaus, and Elijah gave me some new books to read." I said.

"Oooooo. I can't believe that you may be falling in love with one of the Originals." She said.

"Well, Elijah is taking me out to dinner tomorrow night." I said.

"OMG I HAVE TO HELP YOU PREPARE FOR THAT!" She yelled.

I chuckled, and my phone buzzed. I looked at the new message I received and it said:

Hello my dear Scarlet,

I'm afraid that I cannot have our date tomorrow tonight due to a mandatory event that I must attend. If you'd like, we can go out to dinner tonight if you'd like.

I replied to him and told him that would be fine, and I smiled at my phone. "Well Elena. Elijah just postponed the date to tonight." I said.

"OH MY GOD WE HAVE TO GET YOU READY RIGHT AWAY!" She said yelling while dragging me upstairs. When we reached our room, Elena ran to the dress closet and scanned the dresses in there. She then pulled out a mid-thigh burgundy colored dress.

"Elena what's going on? Why are you pulling out that totally cute dress out of the closet?" Caroline asked after she came up the stairs.

"Scarlet has a date with Elijah tonight." Elena replied.

"OH MY GOD!! SCAR GET IN THE CAR! IM TAKING YOU TO SEPHORA TO GET YOUR MAKEUP DONE!" She yelled. Bonnie just laughed at them squirming all over the place. I ran to the car, with Caroline following.

~Time skip to when they return~

We got back at 4:30 because I had to wait for an appointment to open up, so in the mean time I had gotten my nails done, which were French tips, and the same with my toenails.

When I got upstairs, Elena started to curl my hair after I got my dress on. After she finished my hair, I went to find shoes. I found these sparkly gold high heels that had a 5-inch heels.

Bonnie came over to me with a box. "Here Scar. It's a present I made for you." I took it from her and thanked her with a hug. I opened it, and it was a beautiful gold rose hair pin.

"Oh my god, Bonnie! I absolutely love it! Thank you do much!" I said. She hugged me back, and then helped me out my earrings and necklace on, along with my silver watch.

It was 6:00 when I was getting my clutch, and I brushed my teeth and used mouthwash. I put on my Adam Levine woman's perfume, when I heard a knock on the door. It was time...
