Continuation of the previous chapter 💜

It was lunch break, jimin, jungkook and taehyung sat in the canteen with their food on display, both jimin and jungkook munching aggressively.

Taehyung had been awfully quiet, reason because jungkook had spent his time talking to Eun ji and totally forgot about him.

The only time he managed to talk to him was when he was having difficulty in a math problem... Of which taehyung silently solved for him...

And the next was him asking taehyung why he was quiet but the latter just muttered 'nothing ', and jungkook didn't give much thought to it because Eun ji as usual got his attention.

Now the trio sat, and jungkook was telling jimin the difficulties he had with solving his math class work, with his mouth full while taehyung was just picking on his food staring into space.

"Taehyungie are you okay?" jimin asked... Jungkook looked at his friend.. Waiting for response.

"I'm fine hyung" taehyung gave a small smile.. Jungkook snorted.

"Then why aren't you eating? You've not even said a full sentence since we met, are you okay tae?" jimin asked again, taehyung nodded.. And started digging into his meal, maybe it would make jimin stop questioning him.

"He has refused to talk to me since class began, we were cool before class, you saw that didn't you?" jungkook asked jimin, the blonde nodded "but then he suddenly just switched.. I don't know why". Jungkook finished pouting.

"What happened taetae? You can talk to us." jimin asked...

"I'm fine, just tired"
"Yeah right" jungkook rolled his eyes, taehyung glared at him..
"You know all this is your fault right" taehyung accused
"My fault?!" jungkook asked pointing his index finger at himself "what did I do?" he quirked his brows.. Taehyung sighed
"That's your problem, you never observe... You're always so oblivious to everything!!". Taehyung half yelled as he ran his hand across his hair aggressively
"Yahh!! Are you crazy?!" jungkook fired... He was clearly angry, taehyung suddenly switched up on him in class now he's here accusing him of shit.

Few students started staring at them, clearly interested as they had never seen the duo had a fight or quarrel before... Jungkook noticed and sort of felt guilty, he never wanted such attention for him and taehyung... He never wants to fight with his best friend... He soften his gaze and sighed.

"Taehyungie if something is bothering you just tell us and not pick fights, what did jungkook do?" jimin asked softly slightly embarrassed by the attention and few glances students were throwing at them.

Taehyung sighed " jungkook literally ignored me the whole of today in class" he mumbled but clearly enough for jimin and jungkook to hear.. Jungkook furrowed his brows In confusion.
"I didn't" he defended
"What could be the reason jungkook did that? You guys are literally inseparable" jimin asked ignoring jungkook
"Well until some random chick showed up" taehyung said rolling his eyes as he sipped his juice.
"Omo is this because of Eun ji?" jungkook asked smirking..
"Eun ji?" jimin asked confused
Jungkook sighed
"We had a new transfer student, her name is Eun ji" jungkook started.. Jimin nodded urging jungkook to continue..
"So she sat next to me in class and we sort of clicked, you know I like pretty girls and she's really pretty like reaallyyy pretty". Jungkook said

Here he goes again taehyung thought internally rolling his eyes

"She's 100 out of 10!!" jungkook cooed
"Just go straight to the point will you!". Taehyung retorted...
"Guys we have about few minutes before break ends.. Jungkook go straight to the point" Jimin said looking at his watch...

"Okay I sort of became friends with her, well i expect taehyung to make friends with her too but he sort of just shut himself out..."

"You asked her to call you kookie"
"Do you have a problem with that?"
"I gave you that nickname" taehyung eyed him
"My mom calls me kookie too"
"She's your mom, and she heard it from my mouth"
"Jimin calls me kookie"
"He's our friend"
"Eun ji is my friend"
"Should I emphasize on the 'OUR'?

Jimin sighed... Whatever issue the duo has, its best they both solve it themselves... Because the more jungkook explain the more confused he gets... Okay he understands taehyung is jealous that jungkook kind of ignored him,but why is it so extreme?.. He's clearly acting like a jealous lover...

"Anybody connected to the both of us can call you kookie not some random person". Taehyung finished
"Eun ji is our classmate not a random person, you know her"
"No I don't" taehyung said as he started eating his food

Jungkook sighed, taehyung has never acted like this before... Why is he being a drama queen over nothing? He's supposed to be happy I found someone I like jungkook thought.. Yeah he's his best friend but duhh someday they were gonna get married and start work and maybe have to see each other on just weekends that is if they both would settle down in the same city...

"Can we not fight" jungkook asked
"We aren't" taehyung replied

Just then the bell rang.. Students hurriedly finished their food while some started piling out of the canteen...

"Alright guys... You both better settle this issue and hug it out... Taehyungie just let go this time, jungkookie stop ignoring taehyung just because of eun ji, taehyung has been here before her" jimin said hurriedly as he got up and fixed his uniform
"I'll see you both after school" he strode off..

Taehyung finished his last bit of juice and got up.. Jungkook stood up as well and followed taehyung behind...

"Mianhaeyooo" jungkook said as he grabbed taehyung's hand just as he was about to open the door of the classroom, taehyung stood still, slight blush visible on his cheeks.. he thanked his stars he was facing the door so jungkook couldn't see.. He turned when he felt his face has returned to its normal color and saw jungkook pouting with a puppy eyes, taehyung's insides did some aggressive flips does he know how cute he is pouting like that

"You look ugly, it doesn't suit you" taehyung said... Jungkook smiled
"Does that mean you forgive me?" he asked...
"No, go to Eun ji" taehyung blurted
"Please"
"No"
"Pullleeeaaaseeee"
"No!"
Taehyung removed his hands from jungkook's
"What can I do for you to forgive me? I promise I won't ignore you again... I cross my heart " jungkook begged..
"Promise? " taehyung asked
"I promise " jungkook nodded aggressively...
"Fine"
"Jimin said to hug it out"
"No... "
Before taehyung could finish, jungkook engulfed him. In a bone crushing hugging and ruffled his hair..
"Yahh hajimaaa, hajima!! " taehyung half yelled trying to Pry jungkook's hands off his hair..

"HEY STOB IT" Mr Jin's voice filled the hallway... Jungkook released taehyung from his grip and taehyung started to fix his hair whining... Jin walked up to them.. Jungkook and taehyung gave a slight bow...
"Get inside we have literature" Mr Jin said and entered the classroom...
"Since when did you start offering literature tae?" jungkook teased... Taehyung blushed and mentally cussed himself... He had physics but he had totally forgot as he was caught in the spur of the moment.. The things jungkook did to him..
"I.. I.. Simply forgot" taehyung said stuttering... Jungkook chuckled... " I'll just go in and get my backpack" taehyung said as he went into the classroom with jungkook following behind... Jungkook settled down in his seat looking for a particular face which he also didn't see in the canteen... Taehyung noticed jungkook eyes roaming around and figured he was looking for Eun ji.. He grabbed his bag and left the classroom without saying goodbye... Jungkook only came back to reality when he heard the door opened and closed shit.
