Jimin slid himself into the living room, greeted with the fresh aroma of his favorite soup although he was too tired to react excitedly.

" hi, where's my grandmother? "

Jimin asked immediately he saw his grandmother's caregiver coming out from the kitchen area..

" hello to you too jimin, how was school today? "

The lady whom appeared to be in her early 30s asked, greeting jimin with a warm smile.. Jimin simply just gave a brief smile, waving the caregiver's question off whilst waiting for her to answer his own question.

The caregiver's smile dropped although she wasn't making a big deal out of jimin's behavior because she knew jimin was a sweet kid and probably had a rough day at school hence the sullen look. Although the caregiver had noticed jimin's attitude a little bit off since the day he came back from his friend's birthday party - the one she had overheard him talking about to his mom and grandmother nonstop .

But the next day evening a different jimin had came back home, but it wasn't in her place to comment about it Since her and jimin didn't share that kind of bond. So she could only feel for the once cheerful boy from afar, hoping whatever the problem was could be sorted out.

" your grandmother is in the kitchen, should I tell her you're back? "

She asked, jimin shooked his head and sighed

" you know my mom's gonna be mad if she finds out you're letting halmeoni indulge herself in any domestic work"

Jimin reprimanded softly

" she's just cooking, for you.."

Jimin who wasn't in the mood to push the matter further simply pressed his lips into thin line and made an attempt to head for the stairs

" do you want a very chilled and refreshing juice? "

The caregiver spoke just enough to make jimin pause in his tracks, he turned and stared at the caregiver then smiled..

" thanks, bring it to my room please.."

" sure thing."

They both parted ways, jimin, heading to his bedroom while the caregiver, back to the kitchen.

Jimin whom didn't like leaving his bedroom door unlocked carefully searched for his room keys in his backpack, the keys made dangling sounds as he got ahold of it and inserted it in the keyhole. He entered the all familiar room and closed the door softly behind him, the smell of the lavender scented candle he had forgotten to out off in the morning, penetrated his nostrils .

He sighed and trudged towards the candle sitting on his reading desk and blew it off.. His eyes darted to his window for some reason and he frowned, he took off his backpack and threw it on the bed as he approached the window.. He recalled sliding the window shut but right now, it was slightly ajar, just spacious enough to fit one of his arms

Jimin slid the window fully open and poked his head out, peeping. But he was only greeted by the empty artificial garden that he hardly spends time in and the sounds of cars driving down the street, he slid the window shut and dragged the black silky curtain over it.

Jimin took off his blazer and unbuttoned his white sleeves as he walked to his wardrobe, sighs escaping his mouth as he struggles with his tie..

" just. Come. Off.. Aisshh."

He muttered under his breath and breathed out when the tie finally came off.. He tossed the clothing on the ground and reached for the handle of his wardrobe to open it
