" please go back to your seat and rest your head on your desk, without making a noise."

The Invigilator said to taehyung after the latter submitted his papers, taehyung smiled slightly and went back to his seat to do as was instructed.

Taehyung was the first among his fellow students to finish his workload which was geography,  he could see the surprised stares from students and the doubting look from the Invigilator as he approached her.

He doesn't understand how, with years of being a student and classmates to the fellow pupils, they still doubt his level of intelligence especially during exam period, the confused stares he gets from most of his classmates whenever he ask for an extra sheet never cease to amaze him.

Taehyung rested his head on his desk, his thoughts drifting to jungkook. He wondered if the older was doing quite alright, not like jungkook wasn't brilliant  but he'd rather  play dumb than to stress his brain..

" don't worry, I got this, it's literature."

Jungkook had said when taehyung set to head to another class where he'd be having geography, they had both done math together and tae didn't hesitate in putting jungkook through.

It was solely against the school rules, but... It's jungkook. Tae cannot leave his best friend in the mud.

Taehyung obediently sat and waited for other students to finish their work as that was the only way he'd be able to leave the class.

After what felt like eternity, the students were finally able to wrap their heads around their works, they submitted their papers with some of the students having a grump on their face.

One would think the questions was very hard whilst it was the pupils fault for not reading.

Lunch break

The students only had 40 minutes of break, so they quickly troop out of the classroom to go and have lunch and maybe revise their notebook. This applied only to the smart ones

Others just want to eat and get on their phones while having a chitchat with a group of friends.

Taehyung, with his backpack behind him, casually strode past the students to jungkook's classroom, they were to look for jimin together and go to the food court for lunch

But taehyung's brows creased when he didn't make out jungkook from the almost empty room. Had he missed him on his way here? Tae thought.

He eye searched for jungkook's backpack but it wasn't in sight, meaning jungkook left the class deliberately.  Where could he have gone? They both agreed for Tae to come get him... Taehyung sighed and turned to leave, jungkook doesn't keep to his words no more.

Tae decided to head to the food court alone, suddenly not having the energy to go look for jimin all by himself, he sulked as he walked.

He hated looking for jungkook and not finding him

" Tae?"

Taehyung looked sideways where he had heard his name being called, he smiled

" wassup, where's kookie? "

Jimin asked as he approached the younger

" I don't know, couldn't find him.."

" he's always wandering off like a duck."

Jimin teased but taehyung wasn't in the mood

" I'm starving, let's wait for him at the court "

Jimin said after noticing Tae's mood
