MEANWHILE ✨
Jungkook scanned the main Hall, searching for eun ji. He pressed his lips into thin line as he found her amongst her friends, heading towards the exit.
He briskly walked, approaching the girls.
" eun ji "
Eun ji sighed upon hearing her name, her friends muttered incoherent words before heading out first. Eun ji turned to stare at jungkook
" Eun ji-"
Jungkook trailed off, the both of them had not been in good terms ever since he got into a fight with jimin. She totally distanced herself from him and constantly gave him quite the cold shoulder.
Eun ji turned to leave seeing as jungkook wasn't ready to speak, in as much as there was a knot in jungkook's throat, hindering him from making out any word, his hands were swift enough to hold back Eun ji from reaching the handle of the exit door.
" I'm sorry "
It was the only thing he could make out, and if he had a penny for every time he has said sorry to Eun ji, he'd be a billionaire at the moment.
" Eun ji please.. I'm sorry, I can't take it anymore.. I miss you. Stop ignoring me "
Jungkook pleaded, pouting
Eun ji melted, the thing is she was done being mad at the boy, it was torture staying away from jungkook the whole time but jungkook needed to know she was mad at him.
" no PDA in school premises "
The couples heard. It was from a nosy student who snickered and walked past them. Jungkook rolled his eyes, he wasn't even doing anything other than holding Eun ji's hands although his grip loosened, Eun ji saw that as an opportunity to walk away, which she did.
Not without jungkook calling out after her
" Eun ji can you just listen to me..."
Jungkook asked, briskly walking behind his girlfriend
" jungkook I just want to be left alone, please."
Eun ji muttered
Jungkook scurried in front of Eun ji causing her to stop moving
" I won't leave you alone, how long has it been? Five days! You won't talk or look at me.."
" you don't even feel remorseful -"
Eun ji stated
" remorseful? For what exactly? Wait.. Are you taking jimin's side?"
Jungkook asked
" I'm not taking anyone's sides..."
" then what is all this? Why are you mad? I got into a fight, yes! And I'm sorry.."
Jungkook spoke, his voice rising, causing students to look.. Eun ji bit her inner cheeks hard, hating the sudden attention.
Jungkook gripped his hair in frustration, he hated when his anger issues kicks in.
" apologize to jimin-"
Eun ji said calmly, jungkook stared at her in disbelief
" apologize to him and we're good."
" are you being serious?! Do you know the things he said to me?"
" he didn't say anything to you jungkook, stop making a big deal out of it.. I was there-"
" oh., you were there and you don't feel like he said something to me.."
Jungkook fumed..
" you've been refusing to talk to me because of him.. Do you like him now? "
" jungkook he is your friend! "
" was! "
" you talked him down in front of the whole school!"
" and you didn't hear when he mocked me? You didn't hear him call me fatherless? "
" you triggered him, I heard from people what you called him."
" isn't that what he is?!.."
Students slowed down to watch as jungkook and Eun ji argued. It was quite a bummer as they were the latest trending couples in the school, who would have thought their relationship would slowly come to an end especially when it was quite new
Some students even placed bets on the couples, some vouching for their break-up while others, for their make-up.
" you're such a jerk "
Eun ji, quite aware of her surroundings, muttered before stomping off angrily..
Jungkook breathed out a sigh and walked after her..
" Eun ji wait.."
He called..
" I thought you were better, but honestly, you're so self-centered. All you care about is your self, you think you're perfect. You see fault in others but never in yourself. "
Eun ji said with an ice tone.
" Eun ji"
Jungkook called softly
" don't talk to me until you reflect on yourself. "
Eun ji said with a tone of finality before walking out of the school gate and hailing down a cab.
Jungkook poked his inner cheeks in annoyance as he walked back to the parking rack, his heart aching with every steps he took
Nobody was trying to understand him, he had no friends and now his girlfriend was mad at him.
He felt so alone.

" thanks for dropping me home "
Taehyung muttered to jungwon as the car pulled to a stop in front of his house..
" mmmh when will you officially introduce me to your parents "
Jungwon blurted, taehyung deadpanned
" excuse me? "
Tae stuttered, blinking rapidly to process jungwon's question, because his mind was actually thinking something else in context of jungwon's question.
" well you haven't officially introduced me to them, I haven't met them.. And your brother, I wanna see him."
" he- he's in college "
Taehyung stuttered, his cheeks dusting pink. He had interpreted jungwon's question wrongly..
Jungwon simply hummed and shrugged, not wanting to push the conversation further seeing as taehyung was all flustered, he didn't want to rush the boy.. But he would really like to share a special bond with the lad, one he and jungkook never had.
" uh... See you tomorrow jungwonnie"
Jungwon smiled and nodded, he loved how his name rolled off taehyung's tongue, not to mention, the nickname Tae had given him.
Taehyung got down and watched the black car drive off until it was out of view.
He then trudged to his porch, tugging on the strap of his backpack, he made an attempt to knock once he reached the front door but recalled his parents weren't home.
He bent and lifted the medium-sized, black-and-white, heart shaped furry rug and sure enough the house key was underneath. He grabbed it and pushed the key inside the keyhole, he twisted the doorknob and went in
Guys I sort of changed the plot, hence the reason why you see jungkook and Eun ji arguing..
No need to reread the last two chapters, I just changed just little writings and it doesn't in anyway affect the whole story..
Thanks ❤✨
