Taehyung sighed as he flipped his notebook shut, he rested his head on the chair and closed his eyes trying to memorize all what he had read..

He opened his eyes when he felt his head about to explode, okay, he should take a break..

He got up from his chair and grabbed the empty can of water, he needed a refill...

He made slow steps to the kitchen as he tilted his neck sideways making popping sounds..

When he got to the kitchen he tossed the empty plastic in the waste bin and headed for the refrigerator, he grabbed a can of water and twisted the cap to gulp down the content..

His mind drifted to jungkook, he wondered if the latter ever buried his nose in his books, maybe he should just drop by, jungkook was like a kid, he needed to be reminded of what to do, ALWAYS...

taehyung placed the remaining water on the table and left the kitchen...

Maybe I should go to jungkook's
he thought as he climbed the stairs...

"Mom where are you going"
Jungkook asked as he climbed down the stairs, although his eyes were fixed on his phone and he had an headset on..
"Uhh, I'll be back in a jiffy, I just wanna run some errands"
Mrs Jeon replied as jungkook approached her..
"Today is Saturday, what errands could you be running" jungkook asked suspiciously...
Mrs Jeon chuckled..
"Well, unlike you, I still work from home on weekends.. I just want to check out few designs with some colleagues of mine" Mrs Jeon said.. Jungkook opened his mouth to say something but she shushed him..
"No, no, no more questions, shush and come lock the door.." she said as she grabbed her bag and car keys and darted to the door...
She paused and turned to jungkook, jungkook blinked twice
"What?" he asked confused, his mom looking at him like he did something wrong confused him..
"Be a gentleman" Mrs Jeon said tilting her head to the door.. It took jungkook hundreds of seconds to realize.. He huffed as he walked to the door, he opened it and gave a slight bow as his mom exited..
they both laughed at the ordeal before bidding each other goodbye..
Kookie watched his mom drove off until she was out of sight, he proceeded to go inside..
He made sure to lock the door just like his mom asked and headed for the stairs, not until the doorbell rang..
Jungkook groaned, who could it be... Did his mom forget something.. Uhhff

He trudged forward towards the door and unlocked it, he scoffed as he saw who it was and went back to the living room..
"Good day to you too" taehyung said sarcastically as he entered the house
"I didn't think you'd come since you always bury your head in books on weekends... Most especially when it's exam periods"
"Oh well, you can't blame me, not my fault I'm also smarter than you" taehyung said making a sassy face.. Jungkook huffed..
"I'm actually here for you tho" Tae said again
"Obviously, I mean there's literally no one else you'd be here for if not me, unless you're into my mom now"
"Jungkook!!" Tae half yelled.. Jungkook laughed..
"I'm here to help you study... Nothing else okay?"
"I don't need your help!.. Let's play free fire"
"No.. You need to study.. Exams is just around the corner and I can't afford for you to fail" taehyung said as he plopped down on the couch
"Oohh mommmy, nobody is failing anything.."  jungkook said as he sat next to tae.. Trying to squeeze his cheeks but taehyung slapped his hands off..
"Ouch"
"You're trying to cheat aren't you?" tae asked
"No". Jungkook said but it came out in form of a question, taehyung sighed.. He was so done with this guy.

"You know what?..."
Tae stood up..
"We're going upstairs, to your room, to study.. And I'll drag you all the way up if i have to"
Taehyung said as a matter of factely as he folded his arms
Jungkook looked at him like he had grown two heads before bursting out laughing..
"You? " he pointed at tae " will drag me? " he pointed at himself.." ha! Bring it on best friend " jungkook said mockingly as he stood up.. Towering over taehyung challengely..
Taehyung shifted back, jungkook being that close to him was overwhelming for him...
"I thought as much, you're such a chicken" jungkook said laughing..
"You always oppress me because you're taller and bigger than me"
Kookie stuck his tongue out at him..
"Okay how bout we read for 30min and play games for 20?" taehyung asked...
"How about you stay here for this week and we'll read right after school for 40min and enjoy the rest of the day" jungkook bargained
"You're asking for sleepovers"
"Yeah... It's been long we did that also.. It's like killing two birds with one stone" kookie said shrugging..
"Let's start today" tae said
"No.. Tomorrow... Let's play few games.."
Taehyung eyed him..
"Fine"
