" Tae, are you sure you want to go to school today" Mr Kim asked, as he entered his son's room, taehyung was already almost prepared for school.. He was buttoning his shirt..
"Yes" he replied, not looking at his dad..
"Tae" his dad called softly.. " why don't you tell us what happened that day"
"Appa.. It's nothing.. I'm fine.."
His father sighed.. "Okay, I'll have Namjoon drop you off since he's heading to college now" he said then left the room.
Taehyung sat on his bed to wear his shoes
he had refused to tell his family what went down at the park.. He couldn't obviously say 'oh I saw jungkook kissed someone and I felt real sad about it' ...

Taehyung had skipped school for two days, all he did was stay in his room and curl up in a ball and silently cry. Either that, or he was fast asleep..
He refused to tell his family anything, he couldn't possibly come up with any lie..so he just let them thought whatever, his dad had actually suggested they took him to a doctor to check if he was having any heart problems, but Mrs Kim declined, if any of their children had health issues, they would have known a long time ago..
So all they did was console taehyung, choosing the right words since they didn't know what was wrong,.

After Tae prepared, he went downstairs, his mom, dad and Namjoon were already seated in the dinning room.
He strode over to them avoiding the pair of worried eyes that gazed at him.. After having breakfast him and Namjoon left the house..

"You still don't wanna talk about it?" Namjoon asked, his eyes fixated on the road.. Taehyung rested his head on the window and sighed..
"Mom is so worried.. You're making her worry" Namjoon said..
"You know, if you could just.."
"Hyung please...." taehyung interrupted
"I'm fine and nothing serious happened that day... I only over reacted.. Can we not talk about this anymore?" taehyung said softly..
Namjoon sighed but didn't reply... They rode in silence..

Taehyung stood in front of the school entrance and sighed.. Did he still want to be here? No, but he had grades to maintain...he gripped his backpack tightly.. Anything but coming across jungkook, Lord please "  he thought as he briskly walked in.. He didn't have classes with jungkook this morning..

"Taehyung? "
Oh great, so great.. He forgot to include a certain blonde in his prayer..
He stopped in his tracks, not looking at  the direction he heard the voice.. If anything, he wanted to just sprint to class..
He felt an arm wrapped him from behind..
"Do you know how worried I was? I called, but you had your phone shut off.." jimin said as he unwrapped his arms from taehyung, and ruffled the latter's hair, taehyung frowned at that.. He just had his hair oiled and styled after so long, and jimin just had to ruffle it...
"It's so good to see you" jimin smiled.. He was standing in front of taehyung now
"I have to go to class" taehyung managed to say..
"Class starts in about 10, let's hang around for a while.. You hardly hang out with me... I miss us Tae.. I miss you, jungkook.."
Taehyung's eyes darted to jimin's, jimin sighed  as he started walking towards the school lounge, taehyung followed him, eagerly.
Was jungkook ignoring jimin too?
"Jungkook-ah doesn't have my time anymore.. We hardly eat on the same table.. I honestly don't know what happened Tae.. Everything just went woosh" jimin paused,  it was true jungkook had been quite distant with him also, they only managed to have a few words when they come across each other, anywhere you saw Eun Ji, jungkook was surely to be there.. Jimin was having any hard feelings,  in fact he didn't mind any of it, but maybe it was the way things took turn that had him shook up a bit, and the fact that taehyung was in love with kookie, and was hurting from afar... It wasn't in his place to tell jungkook about it, it wasn't in his place to force taehyung to tell jungkook either,  he just wanted things to be as it were.. He needed to find a way for the duo to talk.. At least,  talk.. It was the least he could do.

Jimin wanted to say more but, what could he possibly say without mentioning Eun Ji? Everything began with her, right?.. He didn't want to trigger Tae..
They got to the lounge, students filled up few places, taehyung and jimin found an empty spot and sat..
"Do you want something?" jimin asked..
"Water". Taehyung mumbled, jimin nodded and walked towards the vending machine..
"Here" he handed taehyung a bottle of water, while he had an orange juice.. He sat opposite taehyung..looking at him..
"Jungkook ran after you" he muttered, taehyung eyes fixated on him, brows furrowed..
"That day, at the park, he was running after you.. But I stopped him" jimin explain..
Taehyung didn't know how to react or what to feel, but deep down, in the bottomest bottom of his stomach, he felt a tiny wave of excitement. Jungkook ran after him.
He pouted
"He didn't for once come over to check on me" he mumbled
"Tae, you don't exactly have to blame him.. He might have wanted to come, but maybe he didn't know how to go about it"  jimin said..
Taehyung didn't say anything, he in fact didn't know what to say..
" I.. I miss him" he mumbled, jimin smiled
"I know.. "
"Do you think he feels that way too? I wonder if he ever thought of me.. "
" he does.. I can bet my butt on it" jimin chirped, taehyung couldn't help but chuckle..
"I should probably head to class, gotta make out on what I've missed" taehyung said standing up..
" maybe I'll see you later during lunch? " taehyung asked..
"Wow, finally.. Yeah sure.. I'll come get you" jimin beamed.. Taehyung nodded and strolled out
"See you later hyung"

Jimin watched Taehyung until he was out of sight, he gulped down his remaining juice and stood up heading for the bin..
"Chimchim "
Jimin turned and smiled
"You've been here the whole time? " he asked
"Yup, I was getting my math homework  done with Eun Ji in the corner.. I just came to get a drink" jungkook said..
"Oh, I was just leaving... Taehyung left a couple of minutes ago"
"Taehyung?"
"Yeah, he came to school, I've been with him here" jimin said staring at jungkook who had wide eyes
"Oh, you said he just left?" kookie asked
"Yeah, not quite long"
"Um... Do you think I can talk to him?" jungkook asked nervously  "do you think he'd listen to me?" he asked again
"You never know unless you try". Jimin shrugged...
"Can you help me give Eun Ji a can of water?.. Tell her I'll be back before the bell rings"
"Sure, so you and Eun Ji are a thing now?" jimin asked, he obviously knew the answer but jungkook hadn't told him with his mouth yet..
"Uhh.. Yeah.." jungkook half smiled.. Jimin just nodded..
" that's nice.. I mean you both are so obvious anyways, its just you never told me yourself"
"Sorry chim.. Maybe we'll catch up later"
"Maybe?" jimin scoffed.. "You're so whipped kookie.."
"No, I'm not" jungkook chuckled..
"You should go to taehyung now.. We have 5 minutes until the bell rings"
Jungkook nodded and jogged out of the lounge..
He got to taehyung's chem class, and slightly opened the door, he poked his head in.. Few students were in, some studying, others talking.. He made out taehyung quickly sitting down in the middle row, near the window, he had his face down, reading..
Jungkook walked into the class and walked to taehyung..
He turned a chair in front of taehyung and sat facing Tae..
"Hi"
Tae's head jolted up.. He almost gasped.. Was he dreaming?.. He briskly shut his eyes tightly and opened them.. He is really here? 
"Tae can we talk?"  jungkook's voice filled tae's ears..
"I'm busy" taehyung bluntly replied... He didn't wanted to, but his emotions got the best of.. While staring at jungkook all he could think of was that night.. The night he kissed her.. He just couldn't help but frown..
"Taehyung please... I really want to talk things out.. Just give me your time during lunch.. I wanna settle " jungkook said softly
Taehyung stared at him, really stared at him before averting his eyes
"At the rooftop... Wait for me there during lunch break " taehyung muttered..
Jungkook smiled..
The bell rang..
"I'll wait for you" jungkook said standing up.. Students were already filling the class.. He mumbled a bye to taehyung and left.. Taehyung watched him go until the door jammed.
