After what happened in the bedroom, we found out that Snowball had shared his intelligence with other dogs and now we found ourselves surrounded by dogs wearing and using the same machinery that Snowball is. He seems to be the leader. He ordered other dogs to make more of what they're using. We also found ourselves trapped and thrown in a big cage, very uncomfortably cramped, dying for some legroom.
"Snuffles, We didn't mean you any harm! This is a huge misunderstanding!"
"Dad, he wants to be called Snowball." Summer said, correcting Dad, who didn't seem to care much.
"Well, I'm not calling him that. That's ridiculous."
"You're being very aggressive, Jerry. Perhaps tomorrow Dr. Scraps will solve that problem. With a bit of surgery." Snowball said to Dad as a chihuahua stood beside him, holding a pair or scissors.
"Ha. You think you can control me with a haircut?" I sighed, Dad can be such a dingdong sometimes.
"We need more room, take them outside. Chain them up to the poll in the backyard." Snowball ordered the other dogs. Then one of them, a german shephard, unlocked the cage door and dragged us out one at a time. We were forcefully taken outside and secured to the same pole where Dad used to tie Snowball. The ground was damp due to the recent rainfall, and Summer was grumbling about the muddy stains on her pants. I rubbed my arms up and down, it was chilly outside. I sat between Summer and Dad All four of us sat on the wet ground, upset about the whole situation, trying to think of a way out but we really couldn't think of one. Lots of dogs inside, lots of dogs outside.
"We are screwed." I said, looking down at my hands.
"I can't believe how mean Snuffles got just because he's smart. This is why I choose to get C's."
"Psst. Beth, Jerry, Summer." We heard a voice coming from the bushes beside us. When we looked over, we saw Rick and Morty coming out from hiding.
"Dad!"
"Rick!" Rick got out of the bushes first and pulled out a device from under his coat. He walked over to Summer, freeing her first. Then Dad and Mom, then me. He skipped over me to get Mom and Dad first. I didn't care, as long as I had this stupid collar of me. I took the collar off from my neck, rubbing it a little. It was tight. Summer quickly got up and hugged Morty tight.
"Oh thank god, you're alright!" She said, he quickly pulled off from her.
"Oh, you-you're welcome!" Morty said, grossed out for some reason.
"Alright, let's get out of here. If we hurry, we can set up camp in a sewer tunnel or somethingbefore the dogs completely take over."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. We're not going anywhere, Rick. This is my house. I'm not abandoning it."
"Its all over, Jerry. the dogs are on a path to total world domination. But, hey, at least they know not to piss on your carpet, right?"
"Wait a minute... I have an idea!" Many of Dad's ideas... mostly don't go so greatly. Famous last words of Jerry Smith, everybody.
"Honestly, whatever stupid plan you may have, Jerry, it's pointless and stupid. My plan is better, obviously, coming from a genius. We're doing my plan so... and he's walking away." Rick sighed, rolling his eyes, mumbling about my father being an idiot as he walked to the doors like some type of superhero, fists clenched, overly confident in his plan to do... whatever he was going to do... which would probably not go so greatly.
Dad swung open the sliding glass door with confidence and stood beside a crate of weapons that were placed beside the door on his right. The dogs didn't notice him or hear the door open at first, not until Dad loudly cleared his throat, finally grabbing their attention from their project.
