It was almost as if everybody showed up all at once... well, everybody that was human and not aliens or from space. Everyone from school, some I didn't know, some that I knew, others that I wasn't too thrilled to see. This is gonna suck. I sighed and watched as people from school talked to each other, drinking punch, munching on chips and popcorn, the living room was slightly crowded already. Summer was talking to the new girl and her other friend as they sat on the couch. I looked over as I heard knocking at the front door. I walked over to it to let the student in, but was stopped by Summer rushing in front of me and opening the door herself, greeting Brad, the football player that Summer liked, but not like-liked.
"Brad! Hey!" Summer greeted him as he stepped into the house with one of his friends trailing behind.
"Yo." He greeted her back as I saw Tammy stare at him in the corner of my eye.
"Omg, Brad is here! Quick, make my hair look drunk!" She said to her friend, who quickly put her hands to Tammy's hair and ruffled it up a little, making it look slightly a mess. Brad noticed her as she stood a little straighter, swaying to the side with her hand on her hip, sipping the punch.
"Check it out, Tammy's already drunk." He said as he passed her by, smiling down at her as she bit her lip secretly. Summer was left speechless as he walked away without showing any interest. As she attempted to close the door with a hint of annoyance, she was surprised when a hand prevented her from doing so. She opened the door once more and we were met by a man. The man, with signs of age evident, had folded wings on his back, wore yellow gloves with feathered ends extending to his elbows, had a beak-like nose, and sported a brown feathered skirt.
"The beacon was activated. Who is in danger?" He asked us.
"Um, nobody?" I glanced at Summer, who tossed her head back and shouted at Rick in irritation. Rick came over to his friend with a joyful expression on his face.
"Ey, Birdperson!" Rick said as he walked over, fist pumping his friend, Birdperson is his name? Geez. Is that really the best name you could come up with?
"I am pleased there is no emergency." He said to Rick, who threw a finger at his friend.
"Oh, there is an emergency alright. A fucking emergency!! When's the last time you got laid, 'Pers?"
"It has been a... challenging... mating season for Birdperson."
"Then it's time to get your beak wet tonight, playah! Go have some fun out there, Birdpe- Bir- Birdperson." Rick said, pushing his friend along to wander the house as Morty walked over to us.
"Oh man, how-how many people did you invite, Rick?"
"Uh, people?... Mm... six." He said, before we heard the sound of a vehicle approaching us from outside the house... or a big green UFO, parking in the middle of the street as a big metal ramp came down from it, letting a lot of little round green aliens run down the ramp and happily skip into the house, high fiving Rick as he greeted them all.
"Yo! What up, my glip glops?!" He said to all of them as Morty and I stared as they entered, almost immediately filling up the room. Morty was already super distressed. I rubbed his shoulder and mentioned that it was going to be a loooong... day.

Hours went by, and it got darker. The entire house was crowded with humans and aliens. Rick ended up inviting more than how many Summer had invited, he even invited two Council Ricks, the two Council Ricks I thought he hated the most. Not really sure why he invited the two. I took a sip of my punch and looked around the living room as everyone mingled and chatted, aliens talked in their own language, none we understood. People that finished their beverages or plates of food either left them on the tables or couches or just threw them on the floor like assholes. I watched as Morty went around each room, picking up garbage and tried to make everything neat and clean. But that was impossible.
