I sat in the garage as I waited for them to come back... I sat in the only spot in here that wasn't completely covered in blood and death. So... this is what? Another reality... the same setting, but Rick created the serum to fix humanity, but at the end the both of them got killed? And we just... left Mom, Dad, and Summer back there... jesus... I don't know what to do, I don't know what to think, to say. What happens next? What do we do, go back to our lives like nothing happened? I don't know if I could do that, or Morty. It's crazy that Rick knows how to do that. He doesn't seem like he feels bad about it. But has he done that before? And what's he gonna say about me, me in this reality? I wasn't in the garage. So, where am I? Suddenly the garage door opens up after what felt like a half an hour, I wouldn't know, the clock's covered in blood. Rick and Morty came back, they walked into the garage before Rick closed it. Morty is just as shocked as I am from all that happened, maybe a little more so, but he remained silent.
"Ok... so, here's the deal. In this reality, basically the same thing that went down in our old one, except that you guys... er, Morty... didn't doubt me and I ended up creating a serum that would fix up the rest of humanity, so, you're welcome... and thanks. Buut mostly you're welcome."
"Ok. So... what's the deal with me? Where am I in this place?"
"That's the other thing, and I was going to get to that..." he then pulls out his flask again, finding out that it's empty.
"Oh are you kidding me." He tossed it on the table. Looking in the small fridge for anything to drink. Anything with alcohol in it.
"Rick? This reality's version of me?" He took out a can of beer and closed the fridge door.
"Huh? Oh yeah that's right. You-you remember back when you were around 12 or something, when you got fucked up by that disease, but ended up recovering?" I froze a little after hearing his question, but nodded.
"Ok, well, this reality's Julia... wasn't so lucky." I cocked my head to the side slightly, what was he saying.
"What? What does that mean?" I asked him.
"Um, it signifies that you are no longer alive in this particular existence? Deceased, not living."
"Huh?" I was shocked by the answer that was given. So... I'm dead? Me from here died?
"Wait, how can I be dead? What happened to me?"
"Didn't you just listen to what I said? You got sick again. Or... because you're Jerry's kid and got no Sanchez in your blood. Smith's run away from whatever problems they have, not Sanchez's. Knowing that, you probably just went and... kkkkkkkk." He dragged his finger across his throat, signaling that I could have committed suicide.
"That's not funny."
"Hey, I'm just stating facts. Maybe you ran in front of a bus." He said as we heard a car pull up from outside. Must be our family... from this reality.
"Who's that? Mom?" I asked, earning a harsh shh from Rick. He pulled out a gadget from his coat pocket and scanned through the door.
"Ok, it's not them. Nobody seems to be home. Now why don't you two go in the house, take a shower or whatever, chill the hell out while I clean up this mess."
"You don't need any help?" I asked.
"Not from you, you'd probably vomit everywhere and Morty might just faint like a girl. I've got this..." He said walking over to the bloody shelf and pulled out a Meeseeks box from his clutter of gadgets. Pressing the button four times. Once they all spawned and greeted all of us, Rick told them to clean the whole garage, and they obeyed, totally not bothered by the mess at all.
"Ok, well, see you later." I said, I opened the door to let Morty and I out of the garage and closed it behind us. Morty was just staring blankly forward.
"You ok, bro?" I asked him, clearly he's not, but I still wanted to ask him. He just walked around the house with wide eyes, looking around. Should probably... get rid of these clothes, ripped up and damaged. Since nobody else's in here besides us three, gives me some time to explore the house. Everything looks the same, but if this reality me's deceased, is my room the same? I should investigate. I followed Morty up the stairs and got a basket for our clothes. Once I walked into my room, everything was the same, nothing was wrong, same bed, same rug, same everything. I knelt down to look under the bed... and noticed that my violin was under here, the white one with dark red streaks painted on it. I smiled a little bit. I also noticed that there was another item under it, when I pulled it out I found out what it was and was a little happy when I saw it.
"My portal gun." I said, thank god. I then picked out some better clothing for me to wear today after I took a shower, and when I walked out of my room while still wearing the damaged dress, someone roughly bumped into me, I felt some type of cold iced beverage splash on my face and shoulder, causing the clothes I would wear to get a little bit dirty. Cranberry juice.
"Oh my god, like, watch where you're going!" I thought we were just the only ones in the house. I realized that we were wrong as I looked up from my red stained clothes and saw an annoyed Summer standing next to me. She was in shock, eyes widened, jaw dropped, both hands holding a glass cup and her phone.
"I'm... sorry...?" I apologized to her, not knowing what to say next. Nice to see you? Hey my clothes... I'm back from being dead, I don't know what the hell to say. As soon as Morty walked out from his room and saw his sisters staring at each other, Summer suddenly hugged me, tightly. I didn't know what else to do, so I hugged her back. Smelling the perfume she had on, Japanese cherry blossom? She loves that smell.
"Alright, what's all that noise up here? Oh." Rick then walked up the stairs and saw what was happening. I looked at him, mouthing words like 'wtf what do I do?' She then let go of me and I saw the tears in her eyes, rolling down her cheeks.
"Um... I... hi?"
"Hi? Is that all you're gonna say? Hi? What the hell happened to you? You were dead, you... how are you alive?! I'm so happy to see you." She wiped her eyes a little. I can't stand her crying, I felt my eyes stinging, feeling some of my own tears forming.
"Do you remember anything? Anything at all?"
"No, I mean, no-... I don't thi-think so? I-I..." I looked over at Rick for some help. Having zero clue what to say next.
"Uh, she doesn't seem to remember anything, Summer, maybe she's got amnesia or some shit." Rick said, I nodded after him.
"Yeah, that's it. I don't remember a thing. I just walked in the house and... um..."
"You were dead for a month!"
"A month? I don't re-remember a thing, Summer I'm sorry."
"Don't be, don't be sorry, just... Oh my god, Mom and Dad are gonna freak the hell out. I'm telling them right now!" Summer whipped out her phone and began to type like crazy, making Rick jump over to us.
"W-wait, Sum-Sum, let's talk about this first-"
"No, screw that, they need to know, like, now. Sent." What the hell is going on now?
