yeah that's exactly how i will do it thanks to my idiot brother kaiden i am shitting dinner but surely he was not serious about the no boy rule

anyway i am to tired for this school has taken a lot of my energy for today and i can't go sleep because i know for a fact i will not wan't to get up till the morning and it is only five o clock hmmm what can i do to pass the time i would do some homework but my new school doesn't start giving out till the second week in
thank god for that
i decided i was going to go to the library to pass the time i haven't read in a hot minute ( one day and three hours to be exact) i grabbed my headphones and headed to the library if i am not in my room that is where you'll find me i got myself comfortable on my favorite beanbag put my headphones on at full volume and drifted into the world my book has given me
i haven't even noticed how long i have been in here until the door burst open and javon walked in looking like he was looking for something and when his eyes met mine his whole body was relaxed from its tense state
" guy's i told you she would be in here" he shouted outside the door
he nodded for me to take my headphones off
" is something wrong" i questioned
"nope damion came to get you for dinner and you were not in your room he thought something happened but obviously he doesn't know you well enough because of course you would be in here"
" did you say dinner is ready i'm starving" i started to get up out my seat
"of course food is your top priority" javon said trying to sound annoyed but failed miserably
" food is life" is all i said before speed walking to dinner hearing a laugh from behind me
finnaly making it to my destination just as all my brothers were sitting down in their chairs i sat in my usual seat next to kai and xander while louize was dishing up lasagna before diving in i din't forget to say thank you she is like the best cook in the world
just as i was endulging in my dinner low and behold my oldest brother walked in his demeanor screaming power and confidence as usual
he came and sat down him greeting everyone leaving me till last
" hola mi amor how was your first day at school" giovante asked staring at me
" it was better than i thought it would be actually most of my teachers are nice except maths he's a dickh- really not nice" i honestly answered for once
" did you make any friends carmella" kaiden snickered
i sent him the deadliest glare which thankfully made him shutup
" did you make any friends carmella" gio asked now intrigued by kaidens stupid comment
" yeah i did actually in first period i met this girl called Evangelina in first period she is really nice then she introduced me to her friends at lunch emmaline rico and malakai" i finished my sentence
" i see you have already broken a rule" gio said coldly
" well yeah your rule was stupid like you can't seriously expect me to not talk to any boys and not have any boys who are friends and if you do your delusional" i said calmly but regretted my words as soon as the whole room went silent everyone now watching our coversation
" the rules are just there to protect you carmella " gio said firmly not daring to raise his voice knowing that will escalate things
" that's the thing protect me from what my whole life has been turned upside down and you refuse to tell me things everytime i even mention the so called family buisneess it get's dismissed without a second thought like i havent noticed each of you execpt the twins carry a gun in your waistband and cars that follow us when we go out and the extra van that follows when we go to school in the morning you expect me to open up and put so much trust in you but you won't even tell me the bare minimum I am not some little girl who can't handle the truth"
I finish my speech to see everyone's shocked expressions except gio who has the same emotionless mask as always he look's like he wants to say something but closes his mouth to stop himself and jaiden who just has a grin his face
" and by the way I am going to be friends with whoever I like" and with that I stormed off to my room not sparing a glance at my brothers who watch me leave
I get to my room and lock my door wanting to be alone tonight hearing the commotion that erupts from downstairs
Welll it's going to be awkward tomorrow
