LILITH'S POV

"So what were you thinking about yesterday" Alex asked.

"What?"

"You said you couldn't sleeping because you were thinking about something, what was it?" She looked my way and smiled.

"Eyes on the road Wilson I literally was in a crash a couple of days ago." I joked.

"You didn't answer my question" She said driving.

"Oh your question, Well I was too excited for the game you know, I  needed to start the season with a good game" I said "Can I play some music?"

"Right, Yeah yeah you can play some music" She said.

"So what's the mood?" I asked her "Do you want something with a slow beat or something that will throw you out of the car"

"Something that's not too sad but that it doesn't have a fast beat if you know what I mean" She said.

I nodded and scrolled through my playlist. Two songs caught my eye.
Gold Rush and False God.

I would personally play False God but it's not the right moment. So I decided to play Gold Rush.

"Who did she write this song about?" Asked Alex after a minute.

"Well it's not decided? No one knows, it might be fictional" I shrugged.

"All I have to say is that this song isn't about a man, it's too beautiful to be" She Laughed.

"I don't want to know, i want it to be a mystery forever "I said grinning.

"It's so adorable how excited you get when you talk about Taylor" She pointed out.

"Oh you have no idea, you have to deal with it now" I giggled.

"Lilith do you have your keys with you this time" She joked.

"You're so funny" I said with a straight face. "Of course I have my keys dumbass."

"Good because we are literally 10 seconds  away from your apartment." She said.

A minute later the car came to a stop.

"So, we're here" Alex broke the silence.

"Ah yes"  she wasn't looking at me and I didn't move.

"Thanks  for the ride" I said leaning closer to her and giving her a kiss. Now I have no idea where that came from.

She clearly wasn't expecting that. She turned my way.

"It was nothing. I had to after yelling at you you know" she gave me a smile.

I nodded opening the door and getting my bags.

"Thanks again, Drive safe okay text me when you get home" I said closing the door and waving.

As soon as I got home I closed the door threw the bags  and laid  on the floor. Before you judge the floor is the most comfortable spot after practice then comes the shower and last but not least the bed.

After what felt like an hour laying on the floor constantly checking my phone for a text message I decided to get up.

Maybe she's stuck in traffic. I thought to myself, no you idiot it's 12am  the streets are empty, What if she got in a car crash?

A notification pulled me out of my thoughts and I snatched my phone from the ground.

[Emily✅]: Did you get home safe?
