LILITH'S POV

I opened my eyes to find myself in an unfamiliar setup. I was about to panic but then I remembered that I slept over at Alex's house. Out of no where something started ringing.

"Ugh what is this annoying noise that's making my ears bleed." I groaned.

"Oh shit I have school." I said grabbing my phone and turning it off.

It was 7 in the morning and I already had a Headache. This is going to be such a long day. I thought as I got up and went to the bathroom.

When I got out from the bathroom I noticed that Alex wasn't in the room.

"She probably is in the kitchen." I said to myself as I made my way down the hall.

The closer I got to the kitchen the more I could smell food, and there's nothing I like more than food.

I knocked before I went in to get her attention and it did.

"Well guess who decided to wake up." She said, giving me a smile.

She put down her kitchen stuff and made my way towards me.

"Good morning, how are you." She said as she pulled me into a hug.

"Good morning I'm tired, how are you?" I asked as I hugged her back.

"I'm also doing good, it's okay after you eat all of your headache will go aw-" She said kissing my forehead. "Are you sure you're okay?" She asked.

"Yeah why? Just a little headache." I said confused.

"Because you're burning." She said pulling out from the hug and walking back to the drawer.

"I don't think I'm burning, there's no flames around me." I said laughing.

"No dumbass, I think you have a fever." She said as she looked for probably a thermometer.

"Nah im all good." I said taking a seat. "I'm just hungry but now that you mention it, it's a little chilly in here."

"Found it." She said after a couple of seconds. "Take this and measure your temperature for 4 minutes." She said handing me the thermometer.

"I'm taking it out now." I said as the four minutes had passed, I looked at it and I sighed.

"Everything okay?" She immediately asked.

"Depends if you call this okay." I said showing her the thermometer.

"101????" She said gently taking the thermometer from my hands and rechecking it.

"I don't even feel sick." I said.

"You're tired, and your head hurts, that should be enough to worry you." She said as she took some medicine out of the fridge.

"Before you take these you need to eat. Pick whatever you want then you can go and rest upstairs." She said setting some plates and the food.

"Can you drive me home?" I asked her.

"I was actually going to suggest for you to stay here, schools closer to my house and I can come here faster incase there's an emergency, of course if you want to stay." She said.

"I don't want to be a burden." I said.

"Oh that's nonsense, if it's up to me I'd like for you to stay here. My house is closer to the school and I can come check on you from time to time." She said.

"That's okay with me then." I said smiling.

"Okay good." She said. "Here take this." She handed me a glass of water and some pills.
