Chapter 20

LILITH'S POV

We made our way into her car. She opened the door for me and waited until I got inside. She's such a gentlewoman it's driving me crazy.

As soon as I got in the car I was hit with a big bouquet of flowers that was containing some purple Lilacs some Lilies and Orchids. They looked so amazing and smelled so good.

She got into the other side of car. "I didn't want to bring them upstairs since I didn't want you to carry them back to the car." She said.

I gave her a smile. "These are absolutely gorgeous, I also love lilies, it's self explanatory but these ones, what type are these because I have no words to describe them."

There were three different types of them. One of them was black with a violet tint. The second one started with a reddish purple and it faded to yellow and the last ones there were pink ones with a darker shade of pink inside creating a star.

"Oh honestly I didn't know what to pick, I couldn't decide so I got all of them." She said. "The first one is a Night Rider Lily. The second one is a Starlette lilies and the last one is a Magic Star Lily."

"These are amazing." I said, getting a closer look.

Alex put on some music and we made our way to the restaurant. She pulled up to the parking space that was in front of the restaurant and OH MY GOD it had to be one of the Seven wonders of the world.

It had lights all round it I swear you could see it from miles away. It was located on a hill and was the only source of light there.

Alex parked her car and told me to wait for her. I stayed still until she made her way to my side and opened the door for me followed by a hand to pull me outside the car.

We made our way slowly arm to arm towards the restaurant. I didn't mention the fact that she was still taller than me even in my amazing long heels.

We made our way inside when the host, his face lit up when he saw us. He greeted us and said.

"Miss Wilson glad to see you're back, do you have a reservation." He said giving us a big smile.

He knows her? Why does everyone know her? I thought to myself.

"Wilson, table for two." Alex answered.

"Yes ma'am this way, the waiter over there will show you your table." He gestured at a guy who was standing a couple of feet away from us.

"Have a nice night." He said as he looked at me looked back at Alex and winked.

We followed the guy the host told us about and he stopped in the middle of the place, looking at three different tables and stopping at one in the middle.

"Here's your table." He said turning my way.

"I'm sorry?" Alex said getting his attention.

"Is there any problem ma'am?" He asked immediately turning her way.

"There is." Alex stopped before talking. "I specifically asked for a table next to the window." She said looking at him.

"Oh yes my apologies." He said as he walked and followed him to our table.

After we made our way to the table the guy left to grab the menu. Alex was right behind me and she pulled the chair for me to sit.

"Oh Thank you." I said giving her a smile and sitting down.

As soon as she sat the same guy came back again.

"Hello Ladies I am Benjamin and I will be your waiter for tonight." He said handing us the menu. "I'll be here when you're ready." He said as he made his way out of our sight.
