I'm not sure how saying goodbyes at an airport can go...

" 'I won't do anything stupid Amie,' Y/n smiled at her. Although Amethyst was focused on the road, she smiled too. 'I know you won't.' "

At the Airport

They arrived at 9pm, still having about 2 hours left before Amethyst left. Throughout those 2 hours, they had decided to watch (fav show) together. Being so invested, they nearly lost track of time.

"Flight to Korea is boarding now. Tickets A1-A30 please enter," the intercom interrupted their last few moments. They still had some time, since Amethyst's ticket was B17. "You'll come back right?" Y/n began to worry, scared her friend would leave her forever. "Yes, as I've said a million times! I'll be back before winter break, trust me." Amethyst said, holding her best friend's hands.

Y/n began to tear up, then becoming dramatic. "Pleasee, don't leave mee.." She whined. Her bestfriend could only laugh, also beginning to cry. "Oh you idiot, it'll be quicker than you know it." They hugged each other until the intercom, once again, interrupted them. "B1-B30 please enter." The girls let go of each other,  saying their goodbyes, and just like that, Amethyst had left.

Y/n didn't leave until she saw her friend officially board the plane. She took out her phone to check the time, 11:17, the plane was about to leave. Y/n walked out of the airport slowly, not wanting the next day to come.

Y/n couldn't sleep until it was 3 in the morning, soon waking up again 2 hours later. She groaned to the sound of her alarm, waiting for a couple minutes until she officially got up. Y/n did her morning routine: take a shower, get dressed, and eat. "Have a good day honey," her mom said, trying to lighten up the mood. "Thank you, mom. Have a good day as well.." Y/n mumbled.

The day had only become lonelier. Everyday the two girls would see each other, and if they didn't, they'd call each other. (I guess you could say they were attached a bit too much).

Once Y/n arrived at Aoba Johsai, she was greeted by a cheery setter. The fan girls turned to her. "Hi Y/n~chan! Are you coming to the tryouts?" He approached her, holding her hands up to his chest. She slipped her hands out of his grasp. "Who does she think she is? Holding his hands freely?" The girls began to whisper.

"Uh, I think so. I have to check up on someone." She said. Although she was trying to avoid heading to tryouts, she also had to see if soccer tryouts were today and speak with Jordan. Oikawa then looked at her with a sad face. "Someone more important than me?" He tried to guilt her, but it didn't work.

She then walked away, before anymore fan girls looked at her disgustingly. The bell had rang once she entered the school.

Home room this year was a mix of all 3 years, and Y/n's home room was possibly the worst to be in. The teacher was very strict, so much that he'd sent a girl to the principal's office for "not paying attention in class." I've heard he's sent some kids out of the room, crying.

She had entered the room, the teacher still wasn't there yet. She looked around, not knowing where to sit. Her eyes landed on these two boys, looking to be first years, with a few empty chairs next to them. She began to walk over to them, sitting down to the chair next to them. She wasn't looking for a conversation, so she had set her head on the desk.

The boys had looked at her, as if they'd never seen a girl before. "Hi," one said in a monotone voice, his hair was split in the middle. Y/n only turned her head, still on the desk, looking at them in a confused look. "What's your name," the other boy said. He was a bit taller, or maybe it was just his hair that made him look like that.

She had only guessed they were talking to her because they were new and needed someone to befriend. "L/n, what about you?" The boys looked at each other, "Kunimi","Kindaichi." They said, one after another. She had smiled at the two, them smiling back, and went back to facing the desk while waiting for the teacher.

"Hey Kindaichi, Kunimi," a low voice calls to them. They both look at the direction of the voice, "Iwaizumi?" they both said unanimously. Y/n popped her head up to the name. "What are you doing here?" Kindaichi asked. He hadn't heard him. He was staring at Y/n, who was staring right back at him.

"What?" He then turned to the boys, asking what they had said. "I said what are you doing here." He repeated, now looked at him with a puzzled face. "Oh, this is my home room."

What?

He then sat next to her, setting his bag next to his desk. "Nice, now we have our captain in our homeroom!" Iwaizumi quickly faced the two with a confused expression. "I'm not your captain, Oikawa is."

The boys then continued to catch up before roll call.

After 3 cruel hours of classes full of ice breakers, it was finally lunch. Y/n walked in the halls slowly, choosing who she'd sit with. Jordan? Well, they're mostly in the cooking club during lunch. It'd be awkward silence. Step by step, she kept looking for ideas of where to be. Maybe class was the way to go.. Y/n stopped, staring at her feet.

"Y/n, right? What are you doing here? It's lunch." A boy calls out, it was Kindaichi. "Oh, I'm figuring out where to go." He looks at her confused, shouldn't she know where to go? "But aren't you older than me?" He asks. She then explains the situation she was in, minus the fact her best friend had left to Korea.

He then smiled, asking "How about you sit with me and Kunimi?"
