"  Y/n walked up to her room to find her little sister asleep on the floor. She picked her up and placed her on the bed, surprisingly light for an 11-year-old. After making sure she was fully asleep, she heads to her own room. She falls asleep while doing homework.  "

Y/n groans, waking up from her desk, some papers sticking to her face. It was 4:37 am, might as well get up now. She had turned off her morning alarm for the day. Once she got up, she stretched her back, slightly popping.

She headed down stairs after getting ready, still no mom. She left to school, but by the time she was there it was 6. It was still too early to enter school, or anywhere for that matter. She waited in the heat under some shade.

After what felt like an hour, she noticed someone coming to school and opening up the volleyball club room. Iwaizumi. She decided to go up to the club room and ask to stay in the gym, where it would be cooler.

When she entered the room, he was about to change. "You're here early Oikawa.." He then stopped once he realized it wasn't Oikawa entering. "Y/n? What the hell are you doing here?" She just stared, trying to find her words. "Uh, is it okay if I stay in the gym for the morning?" Doesn't she not like me or something? He was silent, trying to figure what to do. "Sure, but why are you here."

"I woke up early," she admitted. It was silent, she just kept standing there. "Are you going to close the door and let me change?" Iwaizumi finally broke the silence. Y/n blushed in embarrassment and slammed the door. Weird.

Y/n walked to the gym to wait for Iwaizumi. Once he arrived, he opened the gym doors and began setting up the net. Y/n sat in the corner, soon falling asleep.

[Iwaizumi's POV]

I had set up the net and grabbed some balls when I heard small snores coming from the corner. Kind of dumb to arrive this early. The doors had opened, showing Matsukawa.

"Hey Iwa," he said while yawning. I guess it was hard to get used to the schedule again. "Hey Matsu," I say back. He began to do laps to wake himself up, but then he stopped at the sight of Y/n sleeping in the corner of the gym.

"Hey, what's she doing here?" He asked. To be honest, I didn't know myself, even if she did say she woke up early, I didn't know why I let her in.

"She woke up early, so she came to the school at 6."

"That sucks, oh well," he said, continuing his laps.

More and more people came into the gym, by the time it was 6:40, everyone was here. Throughout the entire practice, I couldn't stop staring at Y/n. I had felt bad for everything that was happening to her. First, her best friend leaves, then she had to go on a date with Oikawa, and now what's next?

"Iwa, is everything okay? You keep looking over in the corner." It was Oikawa, I guess I was a bit off today. "Yeah I'm fine."

After school

We were about to start after school practice until, "Iwaizumi, can we go to Y/n's tryout?" Kindaichi and Kunimi confront me. Oikawa must have overheard because short after he then says, "I want to go too!" The coach, however, soon let down the mood. "We have practice, you can't just skip it for some girl's tryout." Even with that good point, no matter what, Oikawa wasn't give up.

"Fine, but you boys will have practice over the weekend," Coach finally gave in.

As we four walk to the field, I began to question "Do we have to go to this soccer tryout?" Oikawa looked at me as if he took offense. "Respect Y/n~chan, we need to support her!" Yeah, as if she even went tot the volleyball tryouts for you, I thought to myself. I honestly couldn't see the two coming together. "Alright then."

We arrived at the field and were greeted by nice woman. "Hello boys! Is there a reason you're here?" She must have been the coach, noticing that she had a whistle and a visor. "We're here to watch the tryouts. Is that okay?" She smiles at me, approving our request.

We climbed the bleachers to watch and the girls were split into two teams, just like what we did. I didn't know much about soccer other than kicking a ball into a goal. This was going to be a long game.

Although I wasn't the biggest fan of soccer, I couldn't take my eyes off the game, well, I couldn't take my eyes of her. Oikawa cheered throughout the entire time, which we all expected, but the coach now and then would give him be quiet looks. The game was over and it seemed that they were choosing who was going to be on the team.

[OG POV]

Y/n, who was sweating profusely, became nervous as Coach Aiko called out names. After a few, she had heard hers. "..Y/n. Whoever heard their names, come follow me." Was I not accepted?

"Uh oh, looks like Y/n got pulled," Kunimi mutters. The four boys on the bleachers began to get nervous.

Once the girls had reached the designated spot, the coach had finally spoke, "Alright ladies, I'm glad to inform you that you made the team!" There was a moment of silence before the girls jumped up and down, some hugging each other. Y/n had stayed still for a bit, then smiled. I did it Amie, Jordan!

The coach sent the rest of the girls home, and Y/n heads to the bleachers. She hugs the two first years after telling them both the news. Oikawa, even though not invited, hugs Y/n by the waist. She didn't care, she was too happy, so she hugged him back.

She then turned towards Iwaizumi, but she only smiled. "Y/n, how about we go somewhere to celebrate. Just you and me?" Oikawa said. Was this he excuse for a date?

A/N: This was kind of a shorter chapter and straight to the point, but I tried to add Iwa's pov in there. He gon fall in love real hard 👀
