"  Although Iwaizumi wanted to go down and congratulate the team on their win, mostly Y/n, he decided to stay back. Oikawa had agreed, not wanting to bother Y/n after learning what he had done.

'You ready to head home?' Oikawa asked with a smile.

'Yeah,' Iwaizumi smiled back.  "

"Y/nnn. Are you ready?" Amethyst groaned loudly to her friend upstairs. It was finals week and no one was aloud to be late to class. They both had stayed up late studying, also known as watching tv dramas and not looking at any text book. They were ready to finally get this tiring semester over with and celebrate the holidays.

"I'm done. I had to grab a few things," Y/n ran down stairs.

"Alright alright, let's just hurry and head to school."

. . .

During the finals week, the students weren't supposed to head to their homerooms, instead they were to go to their first class. With not going to their homerooms, they were allowed to wake up a little bit later.

"I'll see you at lunch."

"See ya."

Gross.. English is first, Y/n had thought to herself. It wasn't her least favorite subject in the world, but it's also the worst to have in the morning. "Alright, everyone sit down and I will soon hand out the prompt and test," the teacher had waved her hand back and forth, motioning to come into the classroom.

Once everyone had sat down, they were given the rules and time. "You may start.... now," she said, clicking a stopwatch.

Everything was decent, nothing too hard, but nothing too easy either. Y/n had finished her bubbled test and went on to the writing prompt. "From the text above, why did the author use their chosen perspective?" Whatever.

"30 minutes," the teacher had announced, looking at her stopwatch. Plenty of time, Y/n thought to herself.

After a few minutes, the teacher walked around and pretended to look at their tests. She stopped at one kid, "Excuse me?" Everyone slowly turned their heads to her whisper. The teacher was slightly bent down to this kid looking at his hand, he hadn't bothered to look up at her. "Give me your hand."

She waited a couple of moments before taking his hand herself, on it was smudged black ink of A's, B's, C's, and D's. "Follow me, now," she took him outside of the classroom quickly, but came back immediately. She was now typing on her computer aggressively and quickly, most likely writing an email.

This is probably an exciting event for her, since she does nothing. Y/n rested her chin on her hand, waiting for the rest of the class to finish. She was done and began to doze off, that was until the teacher spoke again. "No one is allowed to cheat, we all know this. If you are caught cheating, your test is terminated."

Gasps spread across the room as if it were a shocker. Oh well, dumb kid. "Continue, 10 minutes left."

Lunch had finally came, just a few more classes. "Hey, how was your first few tests?" Amethyst had asked, obviously tired and wanting to take her mind off of her tests.

"I think I did okay, not amazing, but okay. Oh, a kid got caught cheating." Y/n said, soon becoming cut off by the two boys, who Amethyst still didn't know the names of.

"Oh wow, cheating is one thing, but getting caught?" Kindaichi began.

"That guy must suck overall," Kunimi finished his sentence.

The girls laughed at them, agreeing that it was kind of sad and embarrassing to be caught cheating. They all continued to talk throughout the lunch, in hopes to get their mind off of finals. It soon ended, the bell had rung and it was time to head back to their classes.

As Y/n walked the halls to her history class, she stopped at the sight of girls crowding the doorway, unluckily crowding the hall to her class as well. "Excuse me.." Y/n tried to squeeze through. One girl scoffed and pushed her to the ground, "Rude..." She got back up only to hear whispering around her.

"Ladies, ladies, I need to get to my final!" An annoying, flirty voice was called, owned by the one and only Oikawa Tooru. The girls 'awed' in sadness, slowly moving aside for  him. "Y/n~chan!" He boomed at the sight of the girl he hurt.

"Great, the bitch is here," one girl said, quickly leaving once Oikawa called for Y/n. What the hell?

"Oikawa, I need to leave for history. Bye." Y/n's only objective was to avoid him and finish finals.

"Aww, okay, but I need to talk to you soon. Alright?" Oikawa grinned widely.

"Sure."

. . .

The day had finally finished, "FINALLY!" The two girls cheered as they finished the first day. They only had one more day in reality, for benchmarks. The other 3 were just for anyone to finish tests that weren't finished on the first two. Y/n and Amethyst were still hugging one another, taking one another's stress of their back.

"I think I'm just going to sleep... I'm so tired." Amethyst said, waving goodbye to her best friend.

"Bye, have a good sleep," Y/n waved back, still needing to attend her soccer practice.

When Y/n arrived at the field, her captain was already there. Y/n walked over to her captain to wait for instructions, but instead she was told something unexpected. "Hey Y/n, we're going to cancel practice today. A lot of girls need to study. Oh! A pretty setter was looking for you~," her coach had wiggled her eyebrows at the last sentence with a smirk. At least I didn't have to tire myself more.

"Where is he..." Y/n asked, although she didn't really want to know.

"He's in the bleachers actually." She pointed to his direction, the brunette waving with a wide smile.

Y/n walked up the bleachers, might as well hear what he has to say, right? "Hey Y/n! I wanted to talk to you... about what happened at the gym." Immediately, she wanted to turn back.

"Look, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you and Iwaizumi," Y/n began to defend herself.

"What? No. Iwa~chan already explained a lot, at least his side." Oikawa talked again, "I wanted to... apologize. I didn't know that I hurt you with my confession. Honestly, I thought it was a sweet one, but I guess you didn't like it.."

"You think?"

Oikawa laughed at Y/n, he was glad he could talk about it with her. "So, you obviously don't like me anymore huh?"

"No, not really. To be honest... I think I began to like you again with your constant energy of going on a date. I tried to look nice and everything." Y/n decided to take a seat next to him, looking down at her hands.

"Funny, how the tables have turned." Oikawa smiled, but he was only hurt. "If you like Iwa~chan, you can say so. You guys did kiss after all."

"No no no no.. I didn't even know he would kiss me. I mean, he's your friend. I didn't think he'd like the girl that confessed to his best friend."

"Bold assumption you think he likes you," Oikawa chuckled.

"He doesn't?"

"Well, he says he doesn't. The way he describes you gives a friend vibe, but how he acts is totally different. I think he's in denial, he doesn't get a lot of girls.... Oops! Don't tell him I said that!"

Y/n chuckled. This was, probably, one of the nicest conversations she had with Oikawa. After a while of talking, she rested her head on his shoulder. "I'm sorry I can't return your feelings, even if I had them first."

"That's okay." Oikawa places his head on top of her head.
