CHAPTER FOURTEEN

BREAKING NEWS!! His Royal Highness Prince Vlad Whitlock has found his soul mate.

It has only been less than ten minutes since the Prince has admitted to finding his soul mate, and this was already the main topic talked about all over the continent of Solara.
Like a wildfire, whispers flew, carrying tales on swift wings, reaching all who yearned to know.

Prince Vlad turned off the radio. He was sitting in one of the vehicles with his parents on their way back to the castle, and the only thing that anyone could talk about, no matter the station, was about him finding his soul mate

"Looks like this will be the topic for the rest of the year." Said King Leonardo with a chuckle.

"Only a year? I bet that this topic will be talked about for years to come." Said Queen Violette as she glanced at her son who tried to look annoyed, but she could tell that he was faking it.

Truth be told, the mutant Prince was actually quite happy and proud of his announcement. He was proud to show Benjamin off to the world, even if he didn't actually say exactly who his soul mate was.

King Leonardo turned to face his son. "I'm proud of you Vlad, but I think that you should have waited till you and Benjamin connected the bond before you made that announcement."

"What makes you think we haven't?" Questioned the Prince, causimg queen Violette to spit out the champagne she just took a sip of.

"You did what!" She said causing even the driver to turn to look at what was going on.

"Eyes on the road." Commanded the Prince, causing the driver to quickly focus on the road in front of him.

"And what are you so surprised about? We kissed and the bond connected. Big deal?" Said Prince Vlad nonchalantly.

"It is a big deal! How could you not tell us about that? I wanted to see." Said Queen Violette.

"Why would you want to see you son make out with his soul mate?" Questioned the Prince.

"It's not about seeing you'll makeout Vlad. It's about seeing the bond get connected." Argued the Queen. She then turned to her husband. "Help me out here Leo."

The king nodded his head slowly. "Your mother is right son, you should have atleast let us know."

Prince Vlad sighed. "Of course you will say she's right, she's your soulmate." He said before leaning towards the driver, nearly causing him to drive off the road.

"Can this thing go any faster? I got someone waiting for me at home." Said the Prince. All he could think about was Benjamin. He suddenly had a feeling that something was not right. Benjamin was in trouble.

"Drive faster!" He commanded with a sense of urgency in his voice, causing his parents to give him a strange look.

"Vlad, what's wrong?" Asked his father.

"Benji is in trouble."

"What? How do you know that?" Asked his mother.

"He is my soulmate! I just know." Said the Prince.

The king and queen gave each other a strange look, before King Leonardo looked at the driver. "Drive as fast as you can." He commanded.
