DISCLAIMER: ME NO OWN PERCY JACKSON, THOUGH I SOOO WISH I DID!

That was the night that I was named.

Soon after Annabeth turned into her true godly form, the group turned their eyes away as quickly they could. They still fainted. However, there was one person that saw Annabeth. It was Percy

"Wake up!" Annabeth shouted, her voice cracking with desperation. "How could they do this to me? My husband. If they made me kill my own husband..." Annabeth made a deep growling sound, and Artemis looked at her, with a look of fake sympathy.

"It's okay. It's only a boy."

Annabeth glared at her. "How could you? Why?" She shot a look of despair at Madisyn, and then looked up. "How much longer will it be until we get to Olympus?

“Oh, a few minutes,” Artemis replied. Percy stirred. “Annabeth?” he sat up. “Annabeth?”

“Yes, Percy, I’m here. It’s okay. “Annabeth sighed, and a look of relief washed over her face.

“Well, I guess this will change things,” Percy stated. “We got our wish. I guess we’ll see Rachael today and see what she thinks.” He looked with a longing look at Annabeth.  “We have a demigod child now.”

“How does that work?” Thalia asked. “I mean, Annabeth wasn’t a goddess when she first became pregnant.”

“It doesn’t matter.” Artemis reassured her. “As long as the one having the child is a goddess before the birth, the baby will be demigod.”

The elevator stopped, and the group waited for Annabeth to walk out first. Cheers erupted, and she blushed. Once again, Percy felt a slight pang of jealousy, though wondering why. Hadn’t he given up becoming a god for her?

The gods and goddesses were all there, smiling at Annabeth, who was still blushing. Poseidon looked at Percy and frowned. He mentioned for him to come there.

“Son,” he started. “There, um, well…there’s something we should tell you. After the shower, I mean. With the gods and goddesses. It’s very important, and it should be discussed before the birth of your child.”

“Okay,” Percy answered him, with a look of curiosity before returning to Annabeth’s side. His mom ran over and hugged Annabeth, smiling down at her belly.

Athena came over, also. She looked at Annabeth with a smile. “Well done, Annabeth,” she said matter of factly. “I know you will be a wise goddess.”

Annabeth smiled again. “I know you know,” she replied. “What you know, I know not.”

Madisyn stared at her with raised eyebrows. Annabeth laughed, and told her, “You know what I mean.”

“I know.” Madisyn smiled. “Well, let’s decorate!”

-------1 hour later---------

People were arriving for the baby shower, and Rachael was among the first.

Annabeth looked at her with a smile. “How’s Nico?” she asked.

“Oh, same as always. Hey, I have an idea for a baby name. You’re going to love it, especially after I tell you about my latest prophecy. Okay, here’s the name: Destiny.” Rachael then told them her prophecy.

“But that can’t be about our daughter!” Percy argued. “She’ll be a demigod.” Rachael looked at him with knowing eyes.

“Sorry, but that right now it looks like you two are the most likely couple. Congrats on your goddesship, by the way, Annabeth.”

The baby shower went great, and Percy was anxious to hear what the gods had to tell him. He and Annabeth were taken to the throne room, and they sat in two chairs below the high thrones.

“Annabeth, you would of course sit with us,” Athena assured her. “However, your throne will be built by you and seeing as you’ve just found out that you’re a goddess…” She let the sentence trail off.

“Anyway……” Zeus interrupted. “We have some news for you. Brother, I believe you should tell him.”

Poseidon cleared his throat. “Okay. Percy, well, you know our offer so many years ago, after the Titan War, that we asked you to become a god?”

“Yeah. I said no, as I’m sure you remember.” He smiled.

“Well, the offer came true. Whether you liked it or not. Years ago. Percy, you’ve been a god since that day.”

At this point, Destiny sounded like a GREAT name.
