Chapter 5: Ways to Make Money

"Yawn... That's a good sleep alright."

Ichor sat up on the bed, stretching his arms while doing so.

Getting out of bed, he quickly took a bath before coming out to see Crimson sleeping in the bowl he had put his blood in the night before.

"Wake up, Crimson."

...Bzzz ...Bzzz-

-It seemed that Crimson was dead asleep right now. Kinda weird that a mosquito can fall asleep, but he certainly doesn't mind the change.

"I guess she cleaned that bowl huh... Quite a thirsty one."

"Anyway, how is both of our status now?"

Taking the Mac and Cheese out to warm up, Ichor put them into a microwave before pressing a few buttons on it.

"That's done, let's see..."

Looking at the XP difference between him and Crimson, Ichor did feel envious for a bit.

After all, he's not even halfway into level 2 but Crimson here almost reached level 3 through drinking his blood and that 'thing'.

"I guess I should expect it when my blessing said that I can only get around half of what Crimson gets, but this is still a bit..."

Ichor didn't dwell on it too much though. Since he is getting XPs without having to fight himself, he doesn't have the right to complain that he got the short end of the stick here.

"Haa... Screw it, I'm just going to find a way to make money today."

After he finished his breakfast, Ichor opened the map on his phone and started to check out any potential path he could take to make some money.

After an hour of reading and fact-checking, Ichor found 3 paths that are viable for him right now.

And it is as follows...

One: A casino.

There's a casino near his home. It's not big, but he can certainly try his luck there-

"-Yeah, no. Not counting whether I am lucky enough for me to make a profit, I don't even have enough money to burn right now."

"Aside from that, I need a consistent flow of money, not a quick buck. Better keep it out of my mind. So... Cut."

With that out of the list, Ichor looked at his second path.

Two: Stealing.

With <Minor Concealment> in his skillset, Ichor can certainly try to break a few laws for some cash by stealing from some unsuspecting people or places.
